Tum's Resort

It so happened that their water tank broke, but they sure made up for it by being very very accommodating. Sending pails of water and hot water to our rooms. I was so impressed with how friendly and easy going the staff are. Breakfast was also a very nice spread. We were expecting a plated service, but they served breakfast family style, portions so generous. The place was so private, there are only 4 rooms in the property with very interesting architecture. It was a bummer that we were not able to see the sunrise since we left very early to do whale shark watching. Though I did not have the free massage, my friends totally enjoyed it. They also offered to do the massage in their cabana, which would have been nice if we were not too weary from canyoneering! They offered to let us wash up after the whaleshark activity, which we declined at first, but when we chanced to go back to wash up, they were all eager to welcome us back though we checked out earlier. Still about a 15 min drive to the whale shark jump off, but the privacy and the service is something that we would be coming back for. You can bring your own food, like for BBQ. They don't have meals except for breakfast. No corkage when we were there. Thanks so much! We had a very short, but very very pleasant stay.
