Lucho's place was an absolute dream! Set away from the town in the jungle it provided a place to escape and relax in nature. Lucho was a great host: he made every effort to make us comfortable and to show us the amazon. He is passionate about nature, conservation, and birding and he shares his enthusiasm with his guests on all of his tours. The food served at the lodge was excellent. Organic, fresh, and delicious. We would definitely recommend this lodge to anyone travelling to Puerto Maldonado.

Lucho was such an amazing guide. very knowledgeable and kind. he drove us to the airport on the day we checked out and offered so many fun adventures just outside of the hostel that he single handedly took us on. the rooms were very comfortable and the food was great! highly recommend 

Lucho was a very kind and giving host. He knows a lot about the jungle and is a great teacher. He made sure all our needs were met and gave us a ride to the airport. The eco lodge is in a great area with nature everywhere, frogs, snakes, monkeys, bugs, and more. Great flora and fauna, would highly reccommend!

Nice stay with good hosts. The bungalows was big and the private shower and toilet were perfect. 
The tours were also a good experience. 
We were provided with water and tasty meals our whole stay.

It’s been my dream to visit the Amazon rainforest since I was 10 years old, and this tour truly didn’t disappoint! From the friendliest staff & guides who all went above and beyond to please me, to the magnificent nature and wildlife all around, it was everything I hoped it would be, and more!

Accommodation: Clean and comfortable en-suite rooms, with mosquito nets so you don’t have to bring your own. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature so provides the ideal Amazonian experience (eg don’t expect a 5 star hotel on a trip like this!) The communal area is lovely, with hammocks perfect for relaxing or reading a book. There are plenty of beautiful trails around the lodge to walk around in your free time too. 

Activities: The activities were SO much fun! I saw so many different types of animals and insects, and the guides were so knowledgeable and passionate which was contagious! I learnt so much and feel much more connected to nature after my trip. The sun set tower, zip line and adventure course are a bit sketchy, and quite basic but do the job and if you like adrenaline and aren’t a health & safety freak, you’ll love it (like me!). The parrot clay lick is from afar so you don’t get to see the parrots up close (you need binoculars) and it’s not always that they lick the clay, but you’ll for sure see 100’s flying round - just to manage expectations. All the activities provided a unique view and experience of the Amazon - I highly recommend this itinerary. We didn’t have a campfire sadly, and I was hoping for more Amazon legends stories told. You’ll need to be flexible with the itinerary as it’s best to capitalise on when the weather is good for the activities - eg we finished all our activities on day 3, so day 4 i just chilled on the hammocks and went for a walk on my own (went on the canopy & sunset tower again as they were such peaceful areas) which I enjoyed after the busy few days! 

Food: The food was always plenty and definitely made with love ❤️

Communication: It was super easy to contact Lucho via whatsapp! He responds quickly, and makes sure that the schedule all runs on time.

I just finished a 3 day / 2 night stay and had the most amazing experience. Lucho was the kindest and friendliest host, as was everyone else who worked at the lodge! I truly felt at home and so cared for with this team.

Accommodations: The lodge itself was very nice. The common area was wonderful to rest in (reading in the hammocks was the best!) and I found the cabins to be very comfortable.

Activities: We hit all of the activities outlined on the website, and they were SO fun! There was a good range of activities, I felt like I got to experience many parts of the jungle. I absolutely loved the bird watching with Lucho! He was very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife!

Food: The food was absolutely amazing! Some of the best I’ve had during my travels in Peru - definitely made with love! :)

Logistics: Communicating with Lucho was so easy, he was very accessible through WhatsApp! The transportation to/from the airport and activities was included and everyone was right on time! 

Overall experience: So amazing. Don’t hesitate to book with this lodge! You won’t regret it!

Me and my partner have just finished our 3 day, 2 night stay with Lucho, Juan and Fia (the puppy) and we had the most amazing experience. 

The accommodation- beautiful and in keeping with the surroundings. The bed was very comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. You are surrounded by monkeys, hummingbirds and beautiful fauna. 

The host- Lucho is super knowledgeable and kind and did everything to make us feel at home and welcomed. Even after a big rainstorm he took us out in the morning to see the macaws which were incredible to see. 

The food- Juan is a great chef and offered us all the local cuisine to try. The portions are big too so you won't go hungry. 

The tours- Our day and night walk which Lucho left us speechless. Walking at night in the jungle was thrilling but we felt safe at every stage. The Tambopata walk and the boat around the lake the next day gave us an opportunity to see even more wildlife including caiman and the red squirrel. Finally, the bird watching in the morning was very peaceful. 

All in all, one of the best experiences of my life. If you are looking for an authentic experience in the amazon rainforest with a proper guide who lives and breathes nature at an extremely good price, I don't think you can get any better than this.

We opted for a 3day/2night tour & stay & wish we'd have been able to stay longer. Transport was arranged from the airport and Lucho made us feel at home and safe from the moment we arrived. Juan was polite, helpful and fed us with beautiful food.
The lodge is comfortable and well maintained,  a paradise in the middle of nature.
Our walking tours on the first day were breathtaking and we saw amazing wildlife. A well organised lake trip on day 2 and our final morning, whilst disrupted by rain, was fantastic to see the birds under the morning sun.

Lucho and Juan could not have done any more to make us feel welcome and like family. This really is a must do if you are visiting peru. 

I am missing my time there already. THANK YOU LUCHO!

We did the 3d2n Ecoaventuras full tour. We had a really great time. When we arrived you see badly how the pandemic harmed alls the places. There’s a lot of renovation work to do. The lodge is not a fancy luxury lodge but an adventure lodge! But that’s not what the place is about. The place is about our host lucho who has been taking care of us in such a lovely way. Food was also amazing and served by Luchos right hand Juan. On the first day we did an eco walk und a night walk and saw a lot of wildlife which was really crazy. On our second day we went to lake sandoval which was also really worth it. The highlight was sunrise on the third day with thousands of aras flying above Your head in the golden light of the morning. We really loved our ur stay and already miss the time. And not to forget we also miss fia, probably the cutest and most annoying dog on the planet. But she’s been our protector from snakes and other wildlife you don’t wanna have too close! Thank you so much for making this adventure possible!

Lucho is a pure and adventurous soul, and what you experience will be a reflection of this :)

We had great conversations, and even more beautiful experiences throughout the jungle! I feel I was able to experience a truly one of a kind experience at his lodge and also during his guided tours. We saw places that I truly feel would only be accessible through Lucho's extensive knowledge of the area, his hometown. 

Lucho is extremely thoughtful, and is able to accommodate you through any situation with ease. I had several things come up via COVID, and he was more than happy to help assist me through my hiccups. 

The lodge itself is truly an amazon feel, and you will experience what it is really like to be in the jungle, and with good people. Great food as well! 

We had such great laughs, and exchanged wonderful perspectives that I will cherish. Anytime I am back in Puerto Maldonado, I will be sure to visit his ecolodge! I absolutely loved my Time there, and will never forget this experience!!!
