Hostal Santa Catelina was our second hotel in Cusco. We were very satisfied with everything. The location is excellent, very close to la Plaza de Armas. The room was spacious & clean. Shower water was hot and the water pressure was strong. The staff was very nice and helpful. Everyone was kind to us. The restaurants, laundry and shopping places they recommended were all good. We encountered some problems while staying at this hostal - tour agency forgot to pick us up, bus to Arequipa was canceled,etc. With our limited Spanish ability, the staff helped us contact related parties. Therefore, we could go to our tour safe and sound. And we didn’t have to pay the Arequipa hotel. We were thankful for staying with them.
