Hostel Siriri

I stopped by in panamá city on my way to colombia. Hostel Siriri was recommended to me. The guys running the hostel do a great job.
They’re very polite to talk too.
The hostel is so clean, dorms are great with curtains for privacy, bathrooms are large, the pancakes in the morning are delicious, they have a great social area inside and outside to either lounge next to the pool or on the outside bed.
They also have funky artworks all around the hostel

The hostel is located a short distance away from most attractions, and in a very safe part of town. The pool and common areas are fantastic, and free breakfast is always a bonus. The hostel feels more like a hotel than a hostel. The staff can be very unfriendly, and there is never anything going on in the common areas. 

Good location for catching public transport, the beds were comfortable. Good air-conditioning, hot shower. Good value for money in this area. The breakfast only consist of two pieces of pancake with HALF a banana. Instant black coffee only, not even milk or creme in power or liquid form... Definitely not filling, we didn't even bother with included breakfast the next morning.

Good Hostel, Unfriendly Staff

Good location, breakfast can be improved

Located next to Multicentro for buses or Iglesia de Carmen for the metro. It is also a short walk from the Cinta Costera - ideal for a walk into Casco Viejo. 
The showers are fantastic, very hot with superb water pressure- the best I’ve experienced on my trip.
We stayed in a private cabin across from the pool, the room was modest but had everything you needed however I wouldn’t mind some hooks or shelves to put our things on. The kitchen area is good for cooking and there is a pool table also. The big downside being opposite the pool is it is VERY LOUD. There tends to be very loud music in the evening until 12am... make sure you keep this in mind if you are booking a private room. Often there are parties around the pool until 12am. WiFi is patchy at best also.

The hostel itself is fine. it's clean, the beds are alright and they have nice Chillout areas. We had a private room for for persons, which has really small but had good air-conditioning.

The atmosphere in the hostel is not really like you would expect though. The staff is neither talkative nor friendly.

From my perspective the atmosphere is a really important factor to make me feel comfortable at a hostel, therefore only 2 stars.
