We stayed in The Shed at Oasis Yurt Lodge at Wanaka. The setup was very practical - 2 separate accommodation sections, each with their own ensuite, with a shared kitchen/dining/lounge that was large, clean and well equipped. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Yurt Lodge is very environmentally conscious and invites you to join this in simple and practical ways. This would be a great place to 'get away from it all and to unwind. It is worth pointing out that the location is a bit out of the way. We had a car so that was fine - if you wish to walk or ride to the Wanaka attractions, then this might not be the place for you.
