This is an excellent place to stay with absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains. The room we had was large, well-appointed and warm. It has central heating throughout which is important for Queenstown which can be cold, particularly outside of summer. Very comfy bed, enough pillows, and spacious room. Overall a very good place to stay with a friendly welcome. But the views really clinch it.

Fantastic Views

Just wanted one night between Invercargill and Mt Cook.
This was fine. Our room was small and stairways and parking tight. But nice lounge and dining spaces. Pleasant hostess and breakfast.
Nice change from impersonal hotels and motels.

Just passing through

Perfectly prepared, spotlessly clean accommodation with a patio and breath-taking lake/mountain view. It is a place to remember. This establishment is designed for a small number of guests and consequently the choice at breakfast is limited (no veg or pastries).

Great accommodation with a fairy-tale view

I am writing this review from the Kea Room at Alpine Suites. The view from the room is amazing. Lake Wakatipu and the surroundings is so beautiful that I can just sit near the window and read a book the whole day. The property is very well maintained the rooms and the toilets are of good size and big enough for two people to comfortably spend the time here. 
There are three seperate areas for guests to relax. The garden is beautiful and nice way to spend a summer evening. We just finished a very good breakfast and Yoli and Colin are very good hosts.
Will come back soon perhaps to enjoy the views of the snow covered mountains 


Will stay again

We loved our stay at Alpine Suites and wished we'd stayed longer. The views are spectacular and the BnB is so homely and welcoming, especially at Christmas time with all of the decorations in the property adding to the alpine ambience. Breakfast was served in a beautiful spacious dining room with plenty of options including cooked breakfast and fresh coffee. The downstairs lounge and bar area with open fire place another place for guests to relax, in addition to tables and chairs outside overlooking that superb view. Location is great for the airport - 10 minute drive or 5 or so minutes to town. A beautiful quiet property and a fabulous alternative to staying in some of the bigger hotels in town. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to beautiful Queenstown.

Beautiful stay, amazing views.

Oh my goodness. This place is wonderful! We wish we had another night here. The view from our room is spectacular! 
Staff was kind enough to tell us where to find breakfast items as we have to leave at 5am to catch a flight. 
Electric blanket in the room, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with heated towel rack. 
Electric hot water pot in the room, with teas. Refrigerator in room also. 
I wished we could stay more nights here. 

Spectacular View!

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful B&B early in Nov 2019.
A bit of a tricky drive up the hill but from the moment we arrived we were very pleased with our reception, the host is very helpful and informative,  the room was clean and the view out the enormous window over the lake was breathtaking. 
While we were out finding our bearings and jet boating down the river our host had placed a lovely bottle of sparkling wine in our room to celebrate our honeymoon.  A very pleasant surprise and a lovely gesture.
Breakfast in the dining area was a mix of continental, cereals or cooked. Well cooked and plenty of it, the food was very tasty.
This is a very well run, friendly B&B, with views that you will never get bored of.
We both recommend this accommodation to anyone staying for a few days in Queens town.

Wonderful stay

Just beautiful..very comfortable and large suite (Kiwi) and well stocked appliances in the kitchen. Outstanding views overlooking Queenstown. The owners were welcoming. As it was our last evening of our vacation - It was Perfect.

Wonderful !!.

This B&B is a comfortable nough distance to Queenstown so that it's away from the hustle and bustle of town but close enough to hike in (3 km ... it's a good hike with an uphill return for the final bit). Queenstown is built into a hill, so curvy steep roads are everywhere, but the view from our room was spectacular. Colin and Yoli are lovely hosts.

fantastic view

It is worth staying here for the view alone. We had an upstairs room with a stunning view of the lake - so beautiful that I could happily have sat there all day long just looking out of the window.
However, not only the view was outstanding here, but the breakfast offered far more than the standard fare. Here, we had a choice of pancakes, bacon and eggs, all freshly cooked, as well as muesli, toast, yoghurt, etc.
The accommodation is located up a couple of steep streets on the outskirts of Queenstown in a very pleasant surburban area. We were only there one night but we really enjoyed our stay.
