My wife and I stayed here for 10 days while visiting our grandkids and it was ideal!  The studio unit was spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed, nice linens, and everything in perfect working order.  We bought cereal for morning breakfasts with coffee in the well-supplied kitchenette.
It's very convenient to get to by car, and close to the train station, but quiet at night, great for sleeping.  Good through-ventilation with the windows open, and a heat pump for heating/cooling as well.  Parking is good, with wide spaces (we had an 8-seat van for the family).
It's family run, with very high standards; all the staff is very nice, and helpful with finding local attractions, etc.  
After busy days with our three young grandsons, it was really nice to have a comfortable, quiet place to retire to in the evenings.  We will definitely stay here again when we come to visit.

My husband and I stayed at the beginning of June, the location suited us as we were right in the middle of the areas we needed. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again.

Excellent

Easy booking. Quick friendly check in. Excellent parking right in front of our unit. We had a one bedroom unit. Clean and tidy with everything needed for our one nights stay. Decent bathroom with large spa bath. Nice bed with good size room. 

We ate at Little India which is only a two minute walk from the motel. 

Maybe it is about time to invest in a bigger TV with sky and mount it on the wall. Besides that we will definitely stay here again next time when down visiting family.

Fab location

Clean, spacious rooms with all amenities. CCTV monitored and easy to park in front of the room. Superb location close to shopping centre and restaurants. Friendly staff. Avoid driving during traffic hours, it gets very hectic around the area. 

Great location, close to shops and highway 

We booked a 2 bedroom unit which had excellent layout.  It was very clean & tidy.  Pillows weren’t very comfortable.  Being close to main road & SH1 you get a bit of traffic noise but we weren’t kept awake by it.  The staff that we encountered, gentleman looking after reception & house keeping were all very friendly & helpful.  However, we were very disappointed that there was no SKY TV, especially as this wasn’t a cheap motel.

Very comfortable

The rooms are bright and modern, the king sized bed super comfortable and the owners/managers were very friendly.  The bathroom has no heater, but there was a mobile oil-heater as well as a small fan-heater supplied, so no problem.
The only suggestion I could make  would be some small bowls for muesli or cereals in the morning.

Great place and friendly service

Stayed the night here on the way to the ferry.

This Motel is very clean and tidy, it’s a stones throw away from Porirua city centre which has supermarkets and eatery’s.

The motel is just off the motorway which makes to and from it very easy.

Excellent stop over

The motel is located next to the Porirua exit, near the train station and and the Mall, with its supermarkets. Location is perfect (albeit a little boring for people working in the area). It would be useful to have a kitchen hood so cooking fumes do not permeate everything, from curtains to bed linen. A dishwasher would be welcome too. Said this, is the best option in the area (I have stayed in two more in Porirua). Price / Quality ratio is normal, you can find cheaper and worse, and I ignore if you can find better in the area

A good and clean motel

Easy to book, very pleasant and polite, room spacious, very clean and comfortable. Buildings clean and very tidy outside, even better inside. Very close to Porirua / Cannons Creek, Papakowhai - just off the Porirua offramp as you travel south, but no motorway noise, very good 2 nights sleep. Will use it again. Would highly recommend staying here.

Wellington Family Trip

After seeing all the previous reviews I was put off booking but when reading some of the reviews later, I found that the problems seemed to have been caused by people with no manners, such as the person thinking that leaving the child’s popcorn on the floor was not a problem.  Why not just clean it up?  We gave the owners the benefit of the doubt and we were very pleased with our stay.  I think perhaps the motel is under new ownership.  It was an easy walk to town and there was no problem with traffic noise.  All in all a good stay.
