On arrival we where greeted with a smile.  Felt like arriving at your own home and I immediately felt welcome.  Very good location and calming atmosphere - accessibility to mid-town (restaurants and entertainment) was good.  Will definitely recommend.

One day Business Trip

The hospitality, the kindness,... is so nice when you are on a trip in a foreign country.  Reservations ware made, things to see recommended, etc...  Rooms were nice and correct, private parking available,  and good tips to  continue our travel

A guesthouse you will love to stay

The facility is within town and closer to the centre of attraction which is the beach. Breakfast was served on time and the owner is very flexible in terms of service provision. It would have been nicer though if the facility offers lunch and supper! 

Security walled, gated and well maintained rooms.

It can't be said enough Jean and her team are doing an excellent job. Good communication prior to our visit in order to book the restaurants (absolute necessary) and arranging a knowledgeable guide who walked us through the historic part of the city. Our rooms where spacious, clean and provided with a large comfy bed. The common living room is cozy and in the morning your breakfast will be freshly prepared. There is ample parking space on the property.

Home away from home

Jean and the team were absolutely wonderful from the moment of first communication, to helping with contacts on what to do, to looking after me as a vegan, to restaurant advice and bookings to making us feel very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom big and clean. We would recommend for people to stay here.

Great place to stay - like a HomeAway from Home

As so many other reviews have testified this guesthouse is outstanding. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. There is a lovely garden and use of a fine sitting room with an honesty bar for drinks and a quality breakfast is provided. But most impressive of all was our hostess, whose name sadly I do not know, for whom nothing is too much trouble. She provided us with detailed local information, organised taxis and even saw us off at 5:30 am with a packed breakfast to our next destination. She even reverse parked my enormous hired 4x4 when I found myself in difficulties! Faultless, thank you so much.

Outstanding

We only spent one night in Swakoppmund and enjoyed the large, aestethic and quiet room as well as the wide and tasteful breakfast. The host was very helpful organizing a reservation for the dinner and the taxi. It was a real excellent stay.

Arrived at 16.00 hour after a long drive. Too late, we thought, to make a reservation for one of the better restaurants and to take a quick look in town. But our host checked us in very quickly, showed us how to walk to the center along the beach. She had also made a dinner reservation for us in a really good restaurant and we were free to decide if we would want to use this reservation. She organised a taxi back. Our room was very nice, the breakfast really good. What else could we wish????

Perfect!!??

We arrived and she made some diner reservations for us at The Tug and The Jetty. The rooms were very comfortable. Also nice that we used the fireplace.breakfast was also great. A lot to choose from. And the fireplace was on ...so it was nice and warm.
One of the best stays we had during our trip for sure. We would come back next time if we are in Swakopmund.

What a comfortable little gem in Swakopmund!  Our cozy room had such thoughtful touches, like a working fireplace to ward off the chill and a coffee station with high quality ground coffee and a french press.  But the best part of the experience was our lovely host, Jean.  My partner and I arrived in the early evening after an exhausting drive from Sossusvlei.  Jean had anticipated our hunger and had gone ahead and booked us a dinner reservation at one of the delicious and hard-to-get-into seafood restaurants in town.  She also arranged a taxi for us without needing to be asked, recognizing we would not want to drive any more that day.  Breakfast the next day was relaxed and tasty, with perfectly cooked sunnyside up eggs and a cold buffet.  Thank you, Jean, for a wonderful stay.  I wish it had been longer than one evening.
