We stayed during January 2020. The hotel is located in New Bagan. They have parking space for car.

This place is more like guest house than a hotel but a good and cheap place to stay which offers quality service .

The rooms were big with comfortable bed. The room had Tv ,fridge . No telephone or electric kettle but they provide hot water from the lobby in a flask. Bottled water and coffee refreshment is provided in room.

Air condition is good and at times we had to switch it off as it was becoming very cold.

They serve breakfast , bread , cake, egg , juice , fruits and tea / coffee. They rent electric scooters as well.

There is a convenience store and couple of Indian, International and Asian restaurant nearby.

Overall a good stay . Do not expect hotel staff engaging with you in any conversation. During my stay across Myanmar I found Myanmar people do not indulge in chit chat with people even if you want to talk with them.

Good Place to Stay.

We had a wonderful time in Bagan. We stayed at New Park Hotel 3 nights and we really enjoyed. Good location, great buffet breakfast and really nice service. Rooms are big with private bathroom, clean and comfortable. Beautiful sun deck and garden. 
Great location, next to the restaurants area.
You can rent at the same place the e-bike for a good price. 
We recommend this place for a peaceful stay in a cozy place. 



Beautiful place and great location



Been here for just one night, would have stayed more but I had already booked another hotel. Very quiet and peacefull, far enought from main road, you can rent an electric scooter and you are already in the temple zone.

Very cheap and friendly

i opted to stay in nyuang-oo as i wanted to enjoy a choice of restaurants to chose from at night and go to the local market and i am sure glad i decided to stay at the park hotel !
i would recommend booking a superior room as they are quite an upgrade from the standard rooms . they come in large bungalows , nicely appointed with little perks like a safe , a fridge and a hair dryer . the room felt very comfy and clean , the bathroom was quite large too , not much pressure in the shower but constant hot water nevertheless . there is also a small patio you can enjoy to catch a few rays at the end of the day ....
they serve a decent breakfast on their outdoor terrasse with the usual fresh coffee , choice of eggs and toasts , some fruit and some kind of asian dish .
the staff seemed a bit cold at first but they quickly warmed up to me and it was all smiles and friendly greetings after that !
they do rent bicycles and e-bikes but you will get better price in other locations ....
one last note , i loved the little family restaurant across the street , super cheap yummy foods and very convenient !
all in all , i would not hesitate staying at the new park hotel if i ever was to visit bagan again !

loved every minute of it

Location is really great. A lot of restaurants nearby that offers great selection of food.  The room are always clean. Breakfast is served on time. The staffs are helpful and friendly. It is easily located.

Bagan 2020

Great location in the living town of Nyaung U and just off the popular restaurant strip. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly, although their information is very tourist driven (I had to discover my own sunset/sunrise spots outside of the 'only one' they suggested).

Simple but friendly and affordable

This was a nice quiet hotel off the main streets,walking distance (5 min) to selection of places to eat or just enjoy a drink, rooms are fine hot shower, WIFI, Buffet breakfast which was fine, Staff here were really nice and would go out of their way to give assistance when asked for

In a nice quiet area with no traffic noise

A very nice place with friendly staff although my room was a bit noisy due to construction work going on next door. There is a nice breakfast from the restaurant but it was the same every day and needed a bit more variety. The road outside is a dirt track and as we'd had a lot of rain there was a permanent large puddle that covered the whole road and was difficult to walk around - especially at night. Lots of restaurants nearby but about a mile or so from the temples.

Good location

The New Park is walking distance (15 min) to Shwezigon Temple and Irrawaddy in Nyaung-U.  We rented an ebike twice from the hotel and visited many of the temples of Old Bagan. Location on a side road makes it quiet but can get muddy during monsoon.  Many economical restaurants located down the road.  Breakfast OK with eggs, toast, fruit, rice peanut dish, and coffee/tea, but not much variety.  Staff provided bowls and hot water for our quick cook oatmeal. The Wifi worked for browsing and email and some picture uploads as expected. There is a generator for power outages but does not power routers or outlets for charging.

Six Day Stay

You will realize that prices are a bit higher in this area compared to other SE Asia destinations. But the room was decent with a private bathroom. AC worked. I traveled in the rainy season so I was one of a few guests at the hotel. The breakfast was ok. Not horrible. My area of improvement would be the ebikes and laundry. It probably would be a little cheaper to rent an ebike outside of the hotel but it is convenient. And they wouldn’t adjust the price to take it for an hour or two. They made me pay a half day rate which wasn’t 50% of the full day rate, it was 60%. And the laundry service was by the item, not by the KG. Not a huge deal but the hotel is very rigid with its policies. But overall, it is a decent place to stay. The property has gates around it that close at night. Beware, the road out front is unpaved and when it rains, it is a muddy mess. The Wi-Fi worked well but I had the room right next to the main reception area.
