This property looks very good from outside but very ordinary from inside. parking is on road side & we have walk up & down 100  stairs. Ask for help to carry luggage. This Room does not have basic stuff like shampoo & soap. Bathroom showers not working properly & water all over floor. Breakfast was ordinary. Paid dinner was good. There was hot water. Room freshener used in room was very heavy. Hotel staff was friendly & helpful- they arrange for early breakfast, provided ac remote missing from room & exchange some $.

Avoid this tourist trap. This place has dirty; most disgusting toilets. The waiters are extremely rude. We didnt eat. There were 3 minibusses of tourists. Pretty sure they are paying drivers to bring tourists. Petit gorge 200 meters up much better choice.

The property has not been maintained, making it feel haunted (particularly as we were nearly the only guests there). The building is beautiful and was grand at one time, but the room we were given was the quality of a hostel. The food was not fresh and was poorly cooked. Positives were the beautiful mountain view, our very friendly host, and the good AC in the room. If you can, stay at Auberge le Festival instead- we have FOMO for not choosing it.

Great food in the restaurant and beautiful location in the todra valley. Parking is available but not too easy to reach.Super friendly hosts but very simple rooms.

The hotel is beautiful, great view and very typical. Staff is great, welcoming and helpful, despite the language barrier. Few minutes away from Todra Gorge, is a perfect one night stop towards your next destination, and if you’re not in a hurry the pool is there to take a break and enjoy the view. Breakfast is ok, maybe a little poor, and if you have a big luggage from the road is quite tiring to carry. Only accept cash payment.

A great stop in Tinghir

Built across the river from the road, so cross the bridge and climb the stairs to this charming hotel.  The grounds are full of plants and trees.  The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly.  Our room was fine, a/c but no controller so opened the windows.  The bathroom was small but the shower had plenty of hot water with good pressure.  Wifi was reasonable.  Super food, tagine, skewers, breakfast was set up and ready in the morning. The tiling in the hotel is amazing.

Amazing location, beautiful building!

this is a unique property, we loved it.  took a while to figure out we had to park by the road and walk on a bridge over the canyon to get there, but glad we did.

This was a little gem on our travels. The scenery around the Kasbah was beautiful and the pool was a delight. Staff were very helpful and the food was fantastic. We would definitely return to stay here. The only downside was  very hard beds and pillows.

Beautiful location, impressing building with great views. beware of the many steps. Tasty plentifull dinner . Needs refurbishing but clean. nice pool.

Amazing view

We spent one night in this property and would have happily stayed longer had we not had other commitments. The property is  spacious but a little run down , renovations were in hand but have stopped due to COVID-19 and a complete stop on tourism until now nevertheless the property  has a superb atmosphere and delightful ethnic feel, which is supplemented to by the excellent staff especially Hussein  who was consistently friendly and helpful.check in and out was efficient  but approach to reception is challenging as it is via a lot of stairs and a short bridge crossing a ravine, the staff of course help with luggage. The room reflected the general run down condition but was very clean but lacked some basic facilities such as shampoo .The bathroom was of the same standard as the entire property with adequate water pressure .Externally there is a well maintained and clean pool area with views of the Atlas  mountains. There is a complimentary breakfast  which is adequate  dinner is available at an extra charge and is excellent both in terms of quality and quantity. In short an excellent experience despite the shortcomings created by COVID 19 , we would definitely return
