Hidden gem with a lovely terrace. Tarik was kind and attentive, always happy to help. The room was spacious and breakfast was tasty. The only downside is the location, close to the market in the Medina (not the cleanest part of it). I would highly recommend it! 

Beautiful riad

A very BIG thank you to Tarik for making us so very welcome and looking after us very well indeed! Tarik went out of his way to ensure we had a superb visit. I felt at home! The Riad is a treasure to be found in the Medina. Beautiful, calm and exceptionally well looked after. Spotless, clean and comfortable. How lucky we were to find such an amazing place to stay! Thank you so very much for all that you did for us!

A Treasure in the Medina!

Loved our stay at this calming space in Rabat. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, but the room was comfortable, staff was very friendly, and the dar was easy to access. Stayed in the Camel room - perfect for two of us. Bed was very comfortable. Would stay here again!

Relaxing stay in Rabat

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Zen! As mentioned, the riad is conveniently located in the medina and it was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Fatima was great in arranging a pick up in front of the medina entrance she was also very resourceful throughout our stay. One thing we didn't really like was the restaurant that was recommened to us, it was very touristy and the food was only ok. 

I would highly recommend staying at Dar Zen! We had a great time and the staff was always very helpful.

Wonderful Stay!

I stayed at Dar Zen for four days and it was great. The location is in the heart of Medina and very close to the main market. It is only 5 minutes away from where cars and taxis can pick you up. It has a nice pool and a lovely terrace to sit, work, and relax. Also, my room had a nice AC. But most importantly, this riad has Anouar who is the manager. He is in charge of checking you in and out, addressing your issues and problems, even preparing breakfast. But doing these, he goes above and beyond his responsibilities. He is also very kind and considerate and an excellent conversationalist, fluent in French and English.

one of my favourite morocco trips and its all thanks to dar zen for their amazing hosting and professionality , especially anouar .. he made me feel like i was home and welcomed , truly an amazing experience , would recommend to everyone

excellent hosting and treatment

The riad is beautiful but what really makes a difference is the more than friendly staff there. Anouar and Wafa are the greatest! They make you feel at home all the time! Anouar showed us around and gave us tips on where to go and was more than helpful during our stay. He made everything easier for us and in a more personal note, I have never felt more at ease in a hotel in my life! Thanks Anouar, you are the greatest!

Best staff ever

Room was clean and had character. The only thing was it was cold that time of year and the room was not able to be heated. Heaters or underfloor heating would have made this experience perfect hence my reason for 4 stars. However, the service was professional and prompt by staff and its really a quite place. Recommend for solo travellers and couples enjoying a short break away from it all.

Relaxing

We only stayed at Dar Zen for one night, but we found it to be very nice.  The staff was pleasant and friendly.  We stayed in the Perle room, and while it had been updated very nicely, the room was pretty small.  The tub being in the middle of the room made it difficult to arrange our bags. That said, it was a nice, clean room with a comfy bed, and we found it to be well situated in the medina.  The staff also arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport when we arrived, and unfortunately, the taxi was not there when we landed.  They promptly sent the taxi once we contacted them, but we were waiting around the airport for a bit.  So while I'd say arranging the taxi was very easy, I would recommend confirming it again before you get there.

Nice stay

The room was lovely and warm and a candle was flickering on the table when we arrived late, but Anouar was very welcoming and attentive from the very moment when we arrived at Dar Zen until we left. Everything was well organised from the airport shuttle, to delicious breakfasts in the court yard.
