This as beautiful riad in the medina of Rabat. Very friendly, great hospitality. As my luggage was lost at the flight to Casablanca the hosts of the riad tried their best to get it back. Great service even when the shift has ended they tried to call the airport again and again. Full recommendation form us!

Wonderful Raid with great hospitality

The room was so beautiful with a opulent ceiling and traditional morrocan decor. Water was hot and the heating in the room worked well. This is a small family run place so it’s homey rather than fancy but the family was so lovely and kind to us. They made us a great breakfast and were always present if we had questions. They even made us tea late at night before bed!

The coziest riad in a great location

Riad Sidi Fatah is one of the first raids you come across in the Rabat Edina. If you need to find it, flow the Main Street (Sid Fatah) down to the right turn option that has ‘Restaurant’ with a right arrow painted on it. They have a large wooden treatment on the door, and an intercom button to push. Which mainly works..
The place has charm, the beds (we had 2 different rooms over 2 short stays of 2 nights each) comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are tiny, and the shower sprays everywhere so make sure you do not leave your towels nearby. The silicone around our sink appeared to have been put on with a shovel, it was messy and peeling.
We visited the terrace one time, it was okay but we mainly spent our time out of the Medina walking or visiting places. 
The lighting is ABYSMAL. The owners, who live in France, have heard about this but must be keen not to improve their rating. Just simply putting in warm lighting that has more than 2 footcandles would launch this riad into a 4 star rating. The switches are awkward, none at the bedroom door, several non functioning. The internet is sometimes dodgy.
The staff are great and accommodating. Walid is especially helpful and knowledgeable. But the lighting is terrible.

Lovely staff

I made a booking online for this hotel and payment has been taken but no email confirmation. I have emailed the hotel at least 10 times, no response. Called, no answers. Sent multiple whatapps to the phone number of the site and then been given another phone number to message the manager, they do not reply. 

I am SOOO worried I have been scammed as I cannot speak to anyone at the hotel and no confirmation.

NO1 ANSWERS THE PHONE AND PAYMENT HAS BEEN TAKEN!?

The Riad is lovely and in a lovely location. The cleaning staff were soo polite. Unfortunately my stay here was ruined as the young man who I believe to be the host Walid took a like to me. He offered me a massage on many occasions in which I turned down. He asked for number and Facebook, I didn’t give my number and told him I only had Instagram. I didn’t give my username but somehow he found me and added me. I ignored the add, he then always messaged me which I ignored. He messaged once again and would often send time standing outside my room. I felt soo uncomfortable by all this I feared for my safety and left the Riad early and spent my last night else where. A shame really.

Travelled Oct 2018.  The staff were warm and friendly and bent over backwards to make my stay enjoyable.  Jet-lag made me miss my morning breakfast and didn't wake until 11am.  I showered and when I stepped out of my room, I saw that they had made up a special table for me and they made sure I didn't go hungry.  Little spoken English, but it didn't hinder my ability to understand and be understood.  The young gentleman even walked me to the restaurant he recommended for me for dinner.  Truly wonderful service.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Riad.  It truly was the highlight of my entire stay in Morocco.

This Riad did not look like it's photos and is in a BIG need of a complete clean and update.  We found the breakfast was poor and inconsistent over our three day stay.  If you are a light sleeper then you will not enjoy the noise - when dinner is being served on the bottom level the noise travels up making it very difficult to sleep.  The roof top terrace was not maintained and not suitable for use.  

Overall I would not recommend this property.  And they charged my credit card twice!

A BIG Disappointment

Bed was comfy. Didn’t like the fact that you need to pay for tea and other beverages. Every other riad I’ve been were free. The riad is beautiful. The wifi is absolutely useless it is so sooo bad

I didn't like the fact that Walid, the young man that booked us into the place took a photo of both of our passports on his personal phone when we checked in     I'M PRETTY SURE THAT'S NOT LEGAL.  Breakfast was VERY poor for £59 for one night . cold coffee, no tea offered, 1 peach each, 1 crêpe each and 1 small danone yoghurt each and that was it.

My stay here was lovely. The staff is extremely welcoming and kind. The traditional Moroccan decor and feel was exactly what I was looking for and was very tranquil. Highly recommend for a solo traveler looking for a calming oasis from the bustle of the city.
