We spend few days in Dar Janoub resting after intensive trip through Marocco. The place is approximately 30 minutes drive from Essaouira, so if you have a car, visits to the city are not a problem. Dar Janoub is located on the slope of the hill with magnificant view of the ocean. Swimming pool is available on site. Walking to the beach (which is wide and sandy) is around 15-20 minutes.The place is comfortable and decorated with taste. Rooms are spacious with windows directed to the ocean. But the most important assets of Dar Janoub are its hosts - Christine and Charles! They are friendly, helpful and ready to provide a lot of interesting information on the the country. If you are interested in the life of local people, we highly recommend the hikling excursion to the nearby village. Overall - it was great place to stay near Essaouira.
