I have been here two months ago i can say is the best hostel i have been before we came from Ouejda in the middle of the night and they were waiting for us the whole night to open the door for me and my girlfriend the rooftop was incredible view especially at night the beds clean the Two Rastas guys I forgot their names (sorry) were very polite and friendly i recommend it and i will be back soon ♥️

My Best Night ♥️

Funky fez has all you want in a hostel, and for me it even had a bit more, with one night of live music that superated my expectations! I really recomend this place, super friendly staff, amazing food made by the resident morocan chef Samira (she really pours her heart out when she cooks those couscous)...and the view, wow. If I ever find myself in Fez again, this will be my top choice to stay the night or nights. By the way, it's insanely close to the Medina, but not so close that all you hear is people passing, the location is top notch for me. For those worried about hygiene, I have nothing to complain, saw them cleaning my room during the morning (a bit of a lazier day) bathroom and all, and soon as people left they changed all the sheets and made it prestine again.
Above all, thank you Funky Fez staff you where incredible...there is now such thing as a "good boat" without a competent crew on-board :)

What an experience!

Great breakfast (relative to other moroccan places i stayed at), safe, clean and amenable place with lovely rooftop terrace area for relaxing and enjoying the views.  Best feature is the staff who really help.

Great for solo travellers

I stayed here nearly a week in a nice enough hostel. The staff are mainly volunteers which worked out well. There is a free breakfast everyday albeit you want to get there early as it tends to run out. There is a ton of seating areas to hang out in including a rooftop area with nice views of the city. There is free WiFi which is mostly quick and of course it is centre of old city. It isn't too hard to find either but use Maps.me and you should be grand.
My only real complaint is the lack of sockets, in 1 of the dorms there was 8 sockets but only 1 of them worked, could really do with a re-wiring.

Good backpackers hostel

Had a good time at the hostel, helpful and friendly staff with nice rooms. They serve a fire dinner be sure to get that. There is a beautiful terrace with a great view of Fez. They have a big shower and 2 ply tp.

Fun stay at hostel

Great hostel in the Fez Medina. Friendly staff, cheap communal dinner, and great tea ;). Great terraces with lots of seatings one with rain cover. A great experience for solos, couples, or groups. I know, say less.

Great hostel in Central Fes

First i will start from the friendliest and helpfull girl Yousa. Thanks for your great welcome. This hostel is in very good location and easy to get back from the Medina :) We was traveling with motorcycle and also very near to the hostel is big and very safe parking. So not problem if you come with wheeicle.  Is very clean, quiet and great ambient. We will be back for sure.   We give you 10 for your service.

Best place to stay in Fez

Awesomely placed near the medina, this gorgeous building, filled with kind volunteers and lovely managers, will make you feel like you will never want to leave Fes.
The hostel is beautiful and clean. All the staff is really kind and helpful. They will happily inform you about Fes and all the tours you can do. The food is affordable and delicious.
Loved my stay there definitely a city, and a hostel, i will visit again.

The best place, the best people

Really great hostel. Loved the vibe, breakfast and dinners. Met some awesome people here and actually went on to do a Sahara tour together!Come here for the people, vibe and great meals. Bed is not very comfy, and the floors in the room were sandy.
