It's true that there is not great signage for the hotel but that sort of adds to the charm. We could feel like we were staying in our own seaside villa. The rooms were a bit dated but the bathrooms seem to have been redone fairly recently as they were nothing like we read about in some of the reviews. One thing to be aware of is that not all of the rooms have views of the water - which is one of the key reasons we picked it. Also, perhaps they have breakfast during the high season but they did not while we were there. That wasn't a big deal but something worth mentioning. Another reason we stayed here rather than in the old city was the fact that his hotel offers free parking which would have been something like 20-30 euros per day. Overall, it was a good stay.

Very Nice Location With Bay Views

This year (2019) I made several business trips to Kotor, and stayed four times two or three nights in this place, situated in Dobrota, a part of Kotor. Location of this hotel is very good in many respects. We needed less than ten minutes of walk to the local Court and less than fifteen to the center of the old town, where there are the municipal building, archives and other places of my interest. The hotel is almost on the beach, and several pretty good places for lunch/dinner or coffee are nearby, 1-5 minutes, and many more a bit further. There is a large supermarket at about 10 minutes. The building is nice, the breakfast area is ample and pleasant, the rooms are clean and tidy, just there is no elevator for the two upper floors (I did not mind, but someone could). There is an outside breakfast place in a small court, too. The employees there are wonderful and very helpful, and the owner, too. I have found a real good place for my business trips.

Conveniently placed nice and friendly hotel

Stayed here for 3 days and this was by far the worst of our 6 stays in Montenegro/Serbia. The positives were location, about 13 mins from the Old Town, and a great view from our balcony. As for the negatives where to start! There was no visible signage outside and you enter through the restaurant which never operated as one! No great welcome and although it was gone 1pm we could not check in so had to take a stroll to the Old Town and then come back. We had a fridge which was useful but no kettle or way of making a drink - we were supplied with one on asking. The hotel is dark and dreary and reminded me of the Adamms family mansion! I had booked the suite as there were no double rooms left and the receptionist seemed to think it was amusing 2 of us in a 4 bed room! The shower tray was gross and really needed replacing as rusty,scratched and the drainage terrible. Hot water did not work on the 2nd day and after complaining we were made to feel like it was our fault as the switch had been touched by accident as it was next to the light switch. The outside balcony light did not work and although a candle was supplied the bulb was not replaced before we checked out. Wi-Fi only worked in certain parts of the room. Breakfast I would kindly describe as awful. Although served from 8am we saw it being laid out at 6.50am on a day we were going on a trip and there were already flies in abundance. On the 2 days we did indulge, the bread was stale, only 1 choice of egg which was omelette and cold pancakes. Despite being very quiet our plates and dishes were not cleared. I am not sure if the hotel has changed hands based on previous reviews but it is in clear need of a revamp.

Not great

This hotel was a little more pricy than we usually booked, and therefor I kind of expected that it would be a little "nicer" as well. The wi-fi didn't work (not the first hotel we experienced this) but the room was great and service as well.
Breakfast was just one choice actually - eggs - scrambled, cooked or omelette, along with juice, coffee and cheese/salami/sausage. So it wasn't all that much and I would have wanted more, and have a buffét to eat as much as I wanted.
The location is perfect.

Beautiful, clean, ok breakfast - walking distance to Kotor Old town

Really enjoyed staying here. Nice hotel outside of Old Town but not too far to walk in and out. Great friendly staff. Comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Only a small number of rooms so has a homely type of feel to it. 

Great Little Hotel

As the title says.  Perfect!

A great location, lovely owners and staff and a cost effective hotel.

We arrived from the UK into Tivat airport.  A 15 minute ride in a cab for 10euros (pre-book your cab).

We got to our room for 11am, threw down our bags and headed off to explore.  The old town is literally 6-7 minutes walk.  Probably quicker without kids.

The view from the hotel was amazing, overlooking the Bay of Kotor.  You are at the waters edge within 60 seconds of leaving the hotel.

Restaurants are within 1-2 minutes walk, all very welcoming and serving a mixture of traditional Montenegrin food and also western type food.

We had both kids with us (6 and 9).  Excellent location for them.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful.  Great breakfast served in the morning - everything you could possibly think of.

Highly recommended and a perfect location to explore Kotor.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived at this lovely little hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, generous portions and served with a smile. We were so impressed we booked to stay again on the last night of our road trip. Lovely people, lovely hotel!😊
