131 reviewsThis place has an incredible location. A couple of miles outside the town, right on the beach - walk out of your room, onto the beach. The service was friendly - although checking in and out took longer than you might expect, if you're used to American hotels. The room was a little dated, but everything was clean, and the kitchenette was well equipped with toaster, stove, coffee make, blender (!), utensils, silverware, crockery and glasses. The bathroom was large and the shower was hot. The tides come in and out a long way - it's quite a walk to the ocean when the tide is out (with interesting tide pools) but they water is close when the tide is high, and you can walk out a long way and still touch the bottom. The wifi (as others have said) was a bit flaky - it only really worked in our bedroom, not in the living room. As we were checking to leave we found a wifi repeater in a cupboard - next time I will investigate using that. The whole place could use a refresh - there were maintenance people working on it while we were there, so perhaps this is underway. There are three electric car chargers available - two tesla, and one with a chargepoint style plug (i forget what that one is called). The tesla chargers seemed to charge at about 10KW. We left our car on it all night, and it was not an issue.
