This is the location to be in Queretaro. Right where all the parks are...tourist shops are just a block away...great restaurants. The room is nice as well. The bathroom is extremely small and the water pressure is close to nothing. The hardest issue to deal with is there is no A/C in the rooms...they had a fan, but it was still very hot in the middle of the night and close to unbearable. I am used to traveling and sleeping without A/C, but for the price, it was something I was expecting. Also, wifi was very slow.

Location, but no A/C

All the employees at the hotel were very kind and friendly.  Cost good, very clean.  Lovely 33-step curved staircase up to the rooms--maintenance man will carry up suitcase if needed. Couches in very-wide hallway if you want to get out of the room while your spouse sleeps.  The bottled water in hallway was never allowed to run out.  The reason I am giving only 3 stars: There is no closet in the room, at least in our king bed, balcony room. Storage consisted of: 2 large bedside shelves on either side of bed, a shelf at least 6 feet high above the hanger rack, a little table at foot of bed, and  2 very light-weight hooks on wall--the other 3 had broken off.  No counter space next to sink. Sink is outside toilet/shower room--no place to set anything in there, either.  Shower generously-sized despite floor space being so limited I kept the small trash can in the shower. The staff kindly brought us a large-sized coffee table for us to put our folded clothing.  Lack of storage is a real problem if you are staying several days and don't want to live with your stuff all over the floor, or live out of your suitcase--which we ended up storing under the bed. The mattress is starting to break down at the edges, I would guess because it is the only place in the room for people to sit and put on their shoes, etc. No chairs in room.  Room actually pretty small but seems much bigger since no space was "wasted" on dresser or closet and because the lovely wood ceiling is so very high--perhaps 15 feet.

No Place to Put Your Stuff

For about $40 a night, depending on room.  Excellent central location.  All newly - and rather stylishly - remodeled.  Very clean, pleasant staff, flat screen Tvs and loads of hot water.  Free WiFi in all rooms, although some rooms have better signals than others.  No on-site restaurant, but the hotel is on a central plaza, and there are many options within a short distance.  Extremely good value!

I love this hotel, it's in downtown. closed from good restaurants, churches and tranvia (I didn't like at all, fast trip around 5 places and you can stay in all of them).

Good Stay

It is hard to believe how centrical it is. It is an EXCELLENT LOCATION. You walk out the door and you are right in down town Queretaro. The rooms are very clean. They have 32 inches plasma TV, fan in ceiling, wireless internet, and a nice patio to sit in. The view is excellent, you overlook garden square right from your window. The beds are very nice and the entire hotel seems just remodeled. The hotel doesn't offer a breakfast but the day that we left, someone told us that if we would have asked for the breakfast they could have done it. They have some rooms with 3 queen beds or they can put an extra bed in most of the rooms. There were 5 of us and we got a 2 bed room room for less than 40 dollars and an extra bed for about 4 dollars. We would entry recommend it.
