Absolutely beautiful property with simple yet clean rooms, friendly staff, and in quiet surroundings. This hotel is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of busy Cuernavaca. It’s protected by a high stone fence and a huge locked gate (gate locked at 6pm but can be opened by staff if you go out and come back after). My partner and I booked the room with the bed that sits in front of the window overlooking the river and lord it was quiet, cozy, and super romantic. We had such a wonderful time at Cala Blanca and will definitely be back!! The only thing that was hard for me as an American was the shower’s water pressure was very sparse almost always, and the water was cold - I think I got in two hot showers while I was there. Other than that 10/10 absolutely recommend!! Also, shout out to Edgar, the director of operations! He was attentive, friendly, and really went out of his way for us during our stay.
