I like it very peaceful but I feel like it could of bin more clean the room I stayed in smelled like cigarettes

Worst hotel EVER!!! Extremely dirty. Dirty sheets, had to use my own blanket, since I was too disgusted to use the sheets. The girl in the front desk was outside with her date, AC wasn’t working, pubic hairs found  in towels, bathrooms dirty, remote controls dirty, filthy carpets. Disgusting overall. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

May need more tourist information at front desk or lobby. Hotel is close to industrial zone so if going for work is perfect. For tourism is not close to downtown or train station so cab/taxi not cheap but good and secure public transportation.

Hotel service is standard with all City Express

We returned to Chihuahua city after almost 3 years. This time we were travelling with friends. I reread my past review and as we had no experience with any other hotels we let them choose one. They neglected to book in advance and their choice was sold out. Thank goodness because they wanted to switch hotels if possible but found out the hot water tank broke so there was no hot water for a long holiday weekend. (Not mentioning that hotel here as I don't know if allowed. Ask me if you would like to know.) So, then they let us pick and our choice was to give City Junior another shot to see if they improved over the years. Happy to say they have. The price can't be beat, and the location is convenient as well, though Chihuahua is small so nothing is really too far away. But here you can walk to 3 supermarkets including a Sam's Club, and also to my all time favorite ice cream shop among other restaurants. There's free WiFi and it worked most of the time. There's even a computer downstairs if you need to print something that I hadn't been aware of. The room is small but adequate and they have cable tv. And hot water! We decided not to even bother with the breakfast though I did note there are only a few options, but it's included in the price so can't really complain. They have a microwave in the eating area available 24/7 so that was perfect for us to prepare our own breakfasts and coffee. And as before the staff are very nice and happy to try to assist you with anything you need. For the price you are paying I would definitely stay here again next trip to Chihuahua.

Return Visit Better!

Booked this hotel for a quick over-night stay because we didn't want to venture all the way downtown Chihuahua. Its location at the north end of Chihuahua should have made it an easy drive but when coming from the north one has to drive quite a way south past the hotel before finding a "retorno" to get back to the hotel.
The rooms are tiny but very clean. The fairly comfortable queen size bed had only sheets and a thin cotton cover on it. In December it gets quite cold in Chihuahua and I would at least have expected a blanket on the bed. We asked for blankets at the reception and were handed two thin little twin size blankets. Got very cold in the middle of the night and used the bath towels as additional covers to keep warm. There was a heating/AC unit in the room but it made a ton of noise. 
A simple breakfast was included - so was wi-fi and secure parking in front of the hotel.
It was o.k. for an over-night stay but I don't think I will stay at another hotel of this type.

My wife and I stayed at the City Junior Hoteles from 2-9 June. It was conveniently located at the north end of Chihuahua on a semi-direct approach from highway 54, the main route from El Paso, TX. Semi-direct because, upon passing the hotel on the left, one must exit from the highway to the right and use the U-turn lane at the next light, something which is not clear from signage. Remaining on the highway will require an extended journey into town before exiting is possible.

The hotel is inexpensive and clean. The rooms are small, but adequately sized for a budget hotel. The staff was excellent, attentive, professional and bi-lingual. Even though my room faced the busy highway, the room was unaffected by outside noise. Bathrooms were immaculate. The one drawback to the room was the noise generated by the air conditioner. Though the rooms aren't normally outfitted with a refrigerator, all one needs to do is request one, and within a few minutes, hotel personnel will deliver it to your room and set it up. 

The housekeeping staff was outstanding and would accommodate requests for additional or special requirements, for example, extra towels or pillows, graciously and immediately. 

There is security at the entrance of the hotel parking lot, and at least during our stay, security in the hotel due to several members of the Federal Police also staying in the hotel.

A buffet breakfast is served daily with entray, juices, coffee, fruit salad, and pastries. It was ALWAYS well-stocked. 

Overall, our stay was enjoyable, and I highly recommend it for your stay in Chihuahua. And if you desire the same five-star room service we received, ask for Elizabeth. You will not be disappointed.

Mi esposa y yo nos alojamos en el City Junior Hoteles 2-9 de junio. Estaba muy bien ubicado en el extremo norte de Chihuahua en un enfoque semi-directa de la autopista 54, la ruta principal de El Paso, TX. Semi-directa, ya que, al pasar el hotel a la izquierda, hay que salir de la carretera a la derecha y usar el carril de sentido en el próximo semáforo, algo que no se desprende de la señalización. Permanecer en la carretera requerirá un viaje prolongado a la ciudad antes de salir es posible. 

El hotel es barato y limpio. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero de tamaño adecuado para un hotel económico. El personal fue excelente, atento, profesional y bilingüe. Aunque mi habitación daba a la carretera muy transitada, la habitación no fue afectado por el ruido exterior. Los baños estaban impecables. El único inconveniente de la habitación era el ruido generado por el aparato de aire acondicionado. Aunque las habitaciones no están normalmente equipados con nevera, todo lo que uno tiene que hacer es solicitar una, y en pocos minutos, el personal del hotel entregará a su habitación y configurarlo.

El personal de limpieza era excelente y tendría en cuenta las peticiones de requisitos adicionales o especiales, por ejemplo, toallas o almohadas, con gracia y de inmediato.

Hay seguridad en la entrada del estacionamiento del hotel, y al menos durante nuestra estancia, la seguridad en el hotel debido a varios miembros de la Policía Federal también alojados en el hotel.

El desayuno bufé se sirve todos los días con entrada de estilo, zumos, café, ensalada de frutas y pasteles. Fue SIEMPRE bien surtida.

En general, nuestra estancia fue agradable y lo recomiendo altamente para su estancia en Chihuahua. Y si lo desea el mismo servicio de habitaciones de cinco estrellas que recibimos, solo tiene que solicitar la recamarera, Elizabeth. No estarás decepcionado.

Terrific value/Gran Valor (English & Spanish)

I rechecked this hotel before booking our return trip for a few details. Our last visit was 1 1/2 years ago. The hotel staff as always was nice as can be and tried their best to please us. The location at the extrance to the city is excellent. This time we had a car and could get where we wanted to go in 10-15 minutes. The problem is that there has been no upkeep. The bed was coming apart. When I showed the housekeeper she politely smiled because she was aware of this already. Nothing she could do about it. At breakfast 2 drinks I had were not as labeled. I showed the same server we had had the last time. She's now also the cook and cleaner. Again, nothing she could do but apologize. It's a pity they have let this place go. We really liked it our 1st two stays. Safe, well situated, inexpensive. But our next stay in Chihuahua we will find another hotel.
