I made a booking through Agoda.com for a night and it was very last minute. The booking process was fast and quick and I liked the fact that they mentioned that you will pay US$3 Green Tax at the reception. And not getting a surprise charge on arrival. Took the bus from Velana International Airport (Male Airport) and alighted from the second bus stop. Took a short walk from the bus stop and found the hotel. It is best to ask the locals for directions. The hotel is quite new; and modern so so speak. There is no elevator so please be prepared with your luggage (tip: it is recommended to leave your luggage at the airport baggage counter for a low US$5 and just bring the stuffs you need). The reception guys were quite nice a spoke English. Very hospitable. The room was spacious, well-lit and had a king bed with lovely red carpet! The TV was good, LED flat screen with plenty of channels. The room had a balcony with beautiful views of the ocean.... Did not try the food as had to check out early.
