Very basic, no frills. Cleanliness needs to be improved.

No frills for short stay

Room comfortable, good ac, good wifi, staff very nice. The only negative point is the karaoke club next to the hotel, making an horrible loudy noise until 2am. The staff changed me roome after one night, it was better than in the ground floor

I booked a last minute deal (very last minute), during peak school and xtra long weekend holidays. Fortunately, got a room (apartment-sized) at a very affordable price. RM350/n with rooms for 5 adults + 2 kids. And, I'm pretty sure you can cramp in more in that apartment if someone willing to sleep on the sofa. Basic amenities is okay. Large TV, fridge and coffee tea making facilities. The room is not that pretty with fancy deco, but its clean and will do for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, there's no lift (elevator) to take you to higher floors. Have to walk up instead. Good cardio tho. 

Anyway, the hotel itself is within walking distance to the main jetty. We walked from the jetty lugging few luggage along the road. No problem (as long as its not raining). Its also close to a mini mart (Billion) and the town center (which is not that big). But you will definately need a transport to move around the island. RM20-25 for a one way trip to Teluk Nipah per van (sits 6 IINM) or RM10 per trip to Pantai Pasir Bogak, or..rent a car which is not that reccomended as you might get a really lemon and unsafe car! I know this because I rent a RM100 Proton Saga which probably made in the 90s, steerings all over the place, tyres without thread! Only found this out on the 2nd day renting it.. Good thing we are safe now. The Island has very dangerous sets of road, steep climb/downhill and curves. Take extra caution if youre driving on your own.

Looks tiny from outside, surprisingly large on the inside

The hotel apartment is good enough for me and family of six. Walking distance from Ferry Terminal and Shops Area. No lift however, so not elderly friendly. Clean enough and well kept. Reception are friendly, as typical of Pangkor locals.

Good for Family or Group.

Clean, tidy and friendly staff. Great rates for backpackers, bike hire and near town. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We liked it so much here we booked for 3 extra nights on top of the 3 we had already.

Nice little​ hotel with friendly staff

Tripped during heavy rain with thunder at 1.30am. The hotel management has to do something to avoid this from happening in the future.

We had a pleasant stay at the Island Hotel. The room was clean, the service was average and everything worked (A/C, shower, etc.) except for the internet in the rooms. Only the staff does not speak very good English - they want to be helpful but hardly are indeed. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time there and on Pulau Pangkor.

Solid facilities for budget travellers

The hotel location very near to jetty port, just within walking distance. Noise pollution was there as next to a karaoke.

Decent room

Recently booked a twin room at this hotel as the hotel is very close to jetty. However, we're totally disappinted when we checked-in. The room was terribaly small with no space to keep luguage but had seperate toilet and bathroom.
