The best hotel we booked in Langkawi so far with lush and expand rooms.
Air conditioner was properly working.
Neat and clean rooms with blanket given.
The entire room was so beautifully well maintained that we did want to make it untidy.

i love this hotel because it cheap and very good staf always help me... fell like home when i stay heve.. they also provide all transport to us cheaper then taxi.. that is only for customer stay dnc bay hotel

SUPER GOOD BUDJET HOTEL EVER

We booked a 5 night stay at DNC Bay as we were on a bit of a budget.  The hotel is quite small but nice and clean.  The rooms are very plain and the family rooms don't have windows.  They provide a kettle, some drinking glasses, soap and towels.  For the price, it is still value for money.  They do have free wifi which was useful.  I suppose the rooms closest to the reception have the best signal strength.

It's quite cheap as they are not next to a beach, so if you have rented a car you'll be fine as Langkawi is not that big and you can get to any other spot in little time.  There are plenty of public beach areas to use.  

The local area is good for eating out and shopping.  There is a local style restaurant right next to the hotel and there are plenty of seafood and other food court style places a little further up the road.  The hotel is very close to the Langkawi parade mall and a host of other restaurants.  There is a 24 hour mini mart near the hotel too which is very convenient for late night snacks and things.  This is handy to stock up on cold water and drinks when setting off to the sights as the hotel rooms don't have fridges.  

The hotel offers sightseeing tours such as the island hopping tour and the mangrove tour but we found it cheaper to go directly to the starting point of the tour and make a deal with the boat operators.  

Overall, we were quite pleased with our stay as we didn't come expecting the ritz.  It was a decent stay at a reasonable rate.  You get what you pay for.  If you're after a budget hotel and don't mind being away from the beaches, this is the place to book!

Almost forgot, there are bats flying around the front of the hotel in the evenings, so be careful when walking in/out at night.  They're not harmful but can give you a fright.

Decent budget stay if you have transportation

Bad area not much to do around here we stayed in this hotel and weren't informed that it was under construction which started at the crack of day :( drills hammers the lot! Rooms arnt as clean as they look by bookings.com and I have to say some of the reviews don't seem legit .. Staff very nice though always looking to help and even took us to our next location for a small fee :) only other thing is the wifi only works down stairs and is very slow. Just needs a good clean and a few changes like screwing the curtain rail in properly so it doesn't land on ones head while sleeping :( .. But we would stay again if there was no construction

Friendly staff

Nobody at property to check me in!! And no room ready past normal checkin times even. Had to leave and find somewhere new.
