Set on a hillside in Byblos overlooking the sea, the cozy L'Hotel de Mon Pere offers boutique style accommodation. The family run establishment boasts 17 charming rooms and is located within a 15-minute walk of the beach and a short drive from the historic sites of Byblos. 

L'Hotel de Mon Pere in Byblos

Lovely gem of a hotel where everything works which is quite an achievement in Lebanon these days. This is an oasis of calm.

We last stayed here in 2019, so pre Covid and all the other disasters that have almost overwhelmed Lebanon since then. However Thierry and his great team somehow manage to keep everything running like clockwork. Also they are a mine of information on the local area and good places to eat out and visit.

The pool is lovely (and clean) and the food menu is ideal for a poolside lunch or an early dinner if you don't want to bother going out. Breakfast is good too.

Hope we manage to get back next year!

Just one observation about Lebanon for the first time visitor, due to the ongoing crisis with the currency and the Lebanese banks you need to be prepared to pay in US$ CASH for everything. It is almost impossible to use credit cards and the exchange rate used on conversion might be a problem.

Excellent as always!

The hotel is a niche boutique place which is very charming and warm at the same time. Barely a 5 minute drive from downtown Byblos. Very well maintained and clean with a great pool and a kids pool that’s very safe. The view from the terrace is breathtaking at any time of the day. 
Breakfast offering suits most tastes and also had a great view. 
Thierry the owner is so hands on and passionate about what he does which reflects on the standard delivered. He goes out of his way to keep guests satisfied and happy. 
Cynthia is an amazing lady with outstanding customer service and they both made us feel so at home during our stay.
Will definitely rebook.

Amazing Getaway

We stayed a couple of nights at L'Hotel de mon Pere this summer (July) while visiting Lebanon.
Firstly, the location is very close to Byblos centre while at the same time away from noise and the busy streets. You can clearly enjoy a good night sleep without hearing any noise.
Then, the host Thierry is dedicated, does excellent cocktails and the best burger we've tried since a while! All the staff are friendly and customer focused.
The hotel is clean and has a nice pool! We will definitely come back on our next trip to Lebanon. Highly recommended.

Stunning place and wonderful host

L’hôtel de mon père is one of the most pleasurable and coziest hotels we have been to.
From the cheerful, friendly people there and the warmth you feel walking into your room, to the breathtaking view from the breakfast lounge. 
Wonderful rooftop terrace and bar, beautiful calm pool and jacuzzi area. 
Will definitely be back, and very soon!!!

Positively surprised

I was visiting with my cousin and we loved our stay. The place is really nice with a beautiful view and Thierry takes care of you as a member of his family! My cousin got sick with food poisoning (before checking at this hotel!!), on my request Thierry prepared rice and bananas for her breakfast. He had a pharmacy full of over the counter medicine and he offered to drive us to a pharmacy. He gave us good recommendations to avoid tourist traps in Byblos and an excellent spot for the beach at Batroun. The pool and roof top were great to swim, relax, eat lunch or have a drink. The food was great, especially the breakfast. Everything you need is there including gluten free options. I really enjoyed the viennoiseries as they were home-made and tasted just like in France. I recommend this place and would go there again.

If you want to be pampered as at your parents, this is the place to be!

Very kind and hepful staff, very clean and cozy hotel. If you want to stay in a lovely place in Byblos (short walk to the city center and the archeological sites), I highly recommend this wonderful structure!

This hotel is recently build, in fact they are finishing the last elements. This doesn't disturb the customers in any way.
Beautifull swimming pool and a small garden.
The rooms are well equiped (airco, safe, refrigerator) and rather large.
Very good beds, small bathroom with shower.
Excellent breakfast with spectacular view over the Mediterranean sea and the archeologic site of Byblos.

It is a very good hotel. Good personal and nice place for relax. Pool is best place in Hotel )) Small France in Lebanon . Good location. There is a good supermarket near hotel.
Center of city  is nor so far from hotel.

Booked at Hotel de Mon Pere for a weekend where the stay was perfect. The place is managed follwoing european B&B management , cozy rooms, well furnished, responsive room service, and fair breakfast.

The hotel is not located in Jbeil as you can check on the map but in the vicinties, making it hard for people not equiped with a car to have an easy transportation from and to it.

The Hotel has a rooftop with a view on Jbeil, a very nice sunset is surely awaiting
