Great bungalows with a great view on the river for 30 usd, or 10 usd in the second row without view but calmer . fairly Quite and peaceful except for the boats you hear in the daytime on the river side bungalows but it is a small price to pay for such an amazing view of the river which is where we stayed. I totally recommend front row for comfort and view or back for calm and lower budget. Slow wifi. No breakfast. Staff not really there to help but best view in town in front row bungalows on your private terrace along with clean and comfortable rooms justify a 5 star review! WHAT A VIEW!!! Fellt like disneyland watching the river and lights at night!

Stayed here for a few nights as a group of 4 sharing 2 cheaper bungalows at the rear of the property. Stunning views of the mountains and was nice having a porch and hammock. Plenty of space to do laundry, our bungalow even came with a free dog! Breakfast is decent and it's ideally located for the main centre of the town. Room was sufficiently clean, bed was comfortable and mosquito net was intact! Staff aren't the friendliest and wifi is weak, but Would definitely recommend this place.

We stayed in cheaper bungalow. It was like 3 euros/person. There is amazing view back of the bungalows. 
Our bungalow was not too clean but there was good bed and hot shower and mosquito net, so we were satisfied.  

This is the only place in laos we could relax without being hassled by the locals. We got the bungalow for 60,000 kip a night, fairly cheap for the bad standards of laos. Great caves and mountain climbs just behind the bungalows for only 10,000kip. 
Just opposite the entrance are a few  places alongside of the river doing BBQ food.
Mosquito net provided as it is just a wooden cabin. 
Wifi didn't have much range to all of the bungalows. 
Very relaxing, had a good time during our 3 nights here. 
Oh and hot shower!

Great bungalows

Beautiful location and cheap for laos

My son and my niece booked here and sadly my dear son died in the bangalow that first night . He was vomiting on the bathroom floor and my niece was screaming for help early in the morning . The owners (only people on site eventually came but too late) There was no internet so my niece couldn't contact any police or emergency number until after my son had taken his last breath .   When my son's father and I arrived from NZ with police escort so we could prayer in the bangalow where our son passed the owners were nowhere to be seen . There were no condolences offered . I forgive them however I would never recommend this place with no heart or soul and irresponsible management . I would also strongly advise to be very cautious of what they serve you (other than food and alcohol)

Yes, the hotel has a great location however there are many better, cleaner, cheaper accommodations with nicer staff available around! 

We booked the large river front bungalow and were first placed in one that had ants everywhere ( coming in from cracks in the bathroom walls, living in the wooden bed frames coming out by the dozens, etc). 

We requested a room change and were placed in one if the other river front bungalows which had no hot water, no Wi-Fi (there was no Wi-Fi at all for two days, and when they finally got it up again it wouldn't work from any of the rooms), no TV,  holes in the floors that we could fit a few fingers through each of them. We had ants, bees and lizards in the room, and there were birds nests between the ceiling and roof of our room as well as at least two other ones. 

The restaurant right in front of The hotel blasts music (things in our room were actually vibrating from the bass) 6pm (starts at 12pm but is quieter until supper time) until 10pm-midnight depending in the night, so if you want to get some sleep this is not the place for you!

There's no reception desk which means you must speak with staff at the restaurant in front of the hotel or check in and with any other request. However even when we arrived for check in they kept walking away from us when they saw us arrive with luggage making the whole process quite frustrating as they kept up the chase - and literally running after staff trying to get Wi-Fi password and such isn't what we were expecting from such a well reviewed hotel. (We were also surprised to notice that during our 3 nights stay here, every single room that checked in would all check out and leave early the following morning, unhappy with the noisy accommodations resulting in a lack of sleep). 

I can't sufficiently emphasis, absolutely Avoid!!!!
