We were with a large group of about 18 people. The group had booked 11 rooms I believe. How we had 2 singles. We were staying 2 nights. Dec 31 & Jan 1. It seemed to be a family run hotel. The owners and their young kids were very sweet. 

Check in went smooth and we were on our way upstairs of the main building. Our first room was disgusting. There was a horrible smell and something sprayed all over the wall. Which smelt and looked like vomit.  I’m a freak and check for bugs or rat droppings before settling into a room. Under the bed probably had not been cleaned since the it was built. There was mold, something spilt, condom wraps and dead bugs. You would have had to stand on the toilet to shower the bathroom was horrible all together. You would have needed shower shoes. This room needed a reno and bad. (forgot to take pictures).

After all the horrible things I had previously read on this hotel and now seen this room I wanted out. My spouse convinced me to see another room.  We ended up switched rooms to a lower level in the back building by the pool. Our room was clean even under the bed. Nothing sprayed on the walls. It had a bit bigger with minimal furniture and very plan walls. Ac and wifi worked great. The bed was nice and comfy and the bedding felt nice and new. There was still a big gap under the door we shoved a towel there to make sure nothing unwanted would be joining us. There were many cats on the property which probably keeps unwanted visitors away. The bathroom must have been just redone. It was very nice. The only weird thing was that the sick drained onto the floor then had to run 3 feet over to the drain.  there was no shower water the first day.  You there was not a lot of space between the sick and the shower. They tried to get us to change to a room  that had a running water but again it was really dirty. I would rather be the dirty one with no water then staying in a room. Day 2 they had the water fixed! It was worth the wait. 

Make sure you check that your door is actually closed and locked before leaving. I found it was very easy to leave it unlocked. They were pretty much bedroom locks on exterior doors. Anyone at any time can walk onto this property and try doors unless you are in the main building. 

It was in a good location to lots of food vendors and a market. Lots of cats walking around wanting some love. They just got a pool about a month ago (Dec 2019) and seems like they are working hard to keep it looking and working good! 
Breakfast was included. Had a pretty good spread. 

There was lots of festivities at midnight on New Years eve! Lots of fun for any age.

Need to do a better job cleaning! Gross!

The staff here earns some extra money by going through your stuff. The manager promised us to look into the camera footage and let us know what happened but we never received information. Now we see the other reviews and this confirms what we already where thinking. I would not recommend leaving valueble things in your room if you still choose to stay here after reading all these reviews about theft. The staff just goes in your room without a reason because they don't even clean your room!

Don't stay here or just take a big locker with you

We slept for like 4 night in this hotel. Last day we went tubing and when we came back my money was stolen.
The room is in the 4 days never cleaned up . 
They told me they will contact me later but never happend. 

And then the reaction from them.. 
Really professional😂😂
They took 62$ out my wallet and when I read the reviews it happend more then ones..

So before you go here read the bad reviews or don't let your stuf in your room.

Never go to this place! Stealing stuff

The small hotel is a bit off the main road we liked it very much. Value for money is good. The breakfast is not very generous but for Laotian standards ok. The bed was quite comfy, we slept very well.

I don’t write reviews lightly but after 5 weeks on the road this place shines like a beacon of light in an inky Black sky. 
Noy the manager ,above and beyond the call of his obligations. 
Assisted all our needs,His perfect English and knowledge of south east Asia was a great help which he enthusiastically shared with no strings attached. 
The hotel is very clean and the free breakfast would have cost more than our room charge so effectively we slept for nothing. 
The Rooms clean and tidy ,Ample hot water and shower pressure great. 
Although situated in the park at the back of bus station it is quiet and 100 meters to the center of town. Night markets and the river front without river front prices.

Stayed here Feb 2018 for one night.   Good location but the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in.  Loud music from a nearby wedding and also other residents of the hotel and their young children made sleeping impossible until after 12.30.  Booking .com took my card details but the hotel would not take a card payment and insisted on dollars!  Very inconvenient!  Breakfast was geared for Chinese guests.  An expensive hotel that was not as clean or well appointed as the ad implies.  Found a far superior hotel for half the price the following day.  Read all the reviews .... I would never stay here again.

Not hat it says on the tin!

Got moved to another hotel when we arrived so review based on that one. Not good communication between the two. Were accused of leaving without paying.
