We loved the Capital Hotel. The rooms were spacious and very nice. The hotel grounds were very nice and we enjoyed the pool. The location was great...just a few minutes from many things to see and do.

Great!

We stayed in this hotel for a 5 day stay in Luang Prabang. We received a free upgrade from the hotel staff to a beautiful clean and large vip room with a nice view on the garden. The hotel room was well equipped with all facilities. The swimming pool is small but beautiful located in the garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is possible to arrange day trips to e.g. the waterfalls. Also possible to rent a bike for a city tour. Good hotel for children. We recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel with a good service

Very nice hotel, staff very helpful and friendly. Room on 2nd Floor with a balcony. Authentic materials were used so lots of beautiful dark wood. Bathroom with separate shower, always love that! Breakfast included, enough choice and the cut me fresh fruit every morning! F&B manager is French, real nice guy! Gave good tips for our stay in Luang Prabang. I would recommend this hotel

Pleasantly surprised

This hotel is beautiful, almost like a resort in Luang Prabang. Not far from the peninsula, 10 mins walk to the night market and the main street.The road is rather dark to get there, but really safe.The hotel has a gym and spa and nice little pool. Buffet breakfast is decent, but repetitive if you stay long.I really loved my stay there.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was just a short walk to the main areas. Wifi was good. Breakfast was fine. Overall, a good place to stay in Luang Prabang

A good place for a few nights in Luang Prabang

This Hotel has so much going for it. It is in a quiet location, and its garden surroundings and architecture really provide a stylishly peaceful enviroment. Yet it is walking distance to all the sites a tourist would like to see and experience in Luang Prabang. The rooms are spacious and good value for money. The buffet breakfast had bacon, ham, sausages, fried eggs and a lovely asian noodle dish, all very fresh, together with a fruit platter, cakes, slices and juices. Perhaps the best aspect of the hotel is the attentiveness and service of its very courteous staff, in particular Hoa, who handled my english very well, and was only too happy to help with my enquiries and with advice on any activities I was considering, in making my holiday so enjoyable. All staff were exceedingly cheerful, diligent, thoughtful and helpful.I have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel.

A Lovely Hotel

Facilities: pool is great but cold ; Value: Affordable; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Clean;

We stayed here four evenings and we're very happy we did. There were only a handful of guests as we staying during low-season, so you pretty much have the place to yourself. The staff is wonderful; everyone is so helpful. Breakfast is served on the veranda each morning in multiple courses (the fruit bread if fantastic!). Our room was clean & comfortable. The pool is great; it's cleaned every day. The hotel's location is a few blocks from downtown, making it an easy walk to restaurants, the night market, Alms and everything else.

Tidy Hotel, Tucked Away

We had a couple of nights at the hotel recently & enjoyed its close proximity to town
& the markets.The breakfasts were great & having a nice pool made it easy to relax after a day walking or shopping.There was a slight problem with the Wi Fi  but the staff were very friendly & helpful.
