Hotel Matsukaze

I stayed this hotel on July 09, 2016. I was on the way from Osaka to Yokohama by a car and I selected to stay in Toyota city which is 300km to Yokohama. Even though a tour group of China stayed also, a front desk staff told me the time of their dinner and that it was better for me to avoid the time frame. Therefore I could have good dinner in comfortable atmosphere. I had a steak dinner for dinner and it was a good surprise. Two big steaks came with salad, soup, Japanese small dishes and rice. Good taste with enough volume. My order of big mag of Kirin Ichiban beer was really big too. Breakfast was also very good. I felt a heart of hospitality of this hotel from the all you can eat style breakfast. Curry with A5 grade beef was excellent. Also a big public bath with outside "roten buro" is a big bonus. If you are a foreigner, please read the rules of Japanese public bath which are provided by this hotel in English and Mandarin and enjoy it. Honestly this hotel has a history and facility is not new but clean. However I am sure that you can feel good and warm Japanese hospitality in this hotel which is very seldom now. I should add that not only room charge but also dinner and breakfast are all value for money.
