Mori no Shizuku

In June 2014 we stayed at Mori No Shizuku. It was the night before we went on the Alpine Route. The Alpine Route was one of the best things we did in Japan! No English was spoken at this hotel but this was not an issue as the owners had systems set up to help us. The people were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. After a phone call (with the help of a local man), the hotel collected us from the railway station and also took us the next day to where the Alpine Route commenced. We had an evening meal and breakfast. Both these meals were superb. Our accommodation was traditional and magnificent. It included a bathroom and toilet but this was not evident when booking it. This was our first night on the tatami mats and we loved it! The hotel staff were so friendly and welcomed us like family members. Thank you. Kaye, Ken, Oliver, Blair (Australian adult family)
