I like the area around this hotel it is lively and has lots of eating places. The room is cute, clean and quiet. However they charge an extra 1000 yen per hour for early check-in. Most hotels in Australia will be more generous and allow early check-in if the can at no extra cost. Be wary of these charges in Japan as another hotel I stayed at in Tokyo charged for room cleaning f you stayed more than one night!

Nice hotel but

I traveled alone in Japan for 6 days. I stayed at the Unizo Inn. You'll get incredible value here. It was located next to the main railroad, only one stop next to Tokyo station and Akihabara. The staff was very friendly, and they made my stay so much easier. I'll miss this place and the staff. If you are looking for a place to stay thats very central, and not too pricey, then Unizo Inn is a perfect choice.

Great value, great location, friendly staff

stayed here for 4 nights and was very pleased with the room & services. The room is spacious and the bed & pillows were very comfortable.  It's about 5 mins walk to Kanda station on JR Yamanote line, Ginza metro line and only one stop to Tokyo station.  I found this hotel to be a good value for money.  I will stay there again when I go to Tokyo next time.

Great Place

I arrived from Narita airport after some stress from the flight, coming to the hotel was a breath of fresh air. As soon as you walk in you can tell that the place is very modern and well-looked-after.  It's cost less than other places in Tokyo and I found it to be excellent value for money. The staff are very helpful and easy to talk to. The hotel is very close to both the Yamanote line and the Ginza line. Kanda is a very nice part of Tokyo but there were random people in suits that tried to talk to me and women on the streets following me on the way back to the hotel at night, it was a little uncomfortable. The room is spacious, there was no view but it didn't bother me. The bathroom was the best part with a big bath. The only downside to the room is that there is a door that separates the walkway into the room and the rest. I can see that it's not used often at all and when I closed it, there was a very thick layer of dust which I'm allergic to. Apart from the dust on the door and under the bed, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Great place

Stayed here for about a week and was really pleased with it. Room was ok size as well as the bathroom. It's Tokyo, right. It was really clean and quiet both day and night. 2 minute walk to Kanda station which will take you to Shibuya in 20 minutes. Breakfast is nothing speciel. Better to go to one of the many cafés in the neighborhood. Laundrymachine on site which I used. Would stay here again.

The hotel is located near Kanda station on JR Yamamote line and Ginza station on Ginza metro line. I arrived at the hotel from Narita Airport via Tokyo main station and the took the JR Yamamote line to Kanda station. From JR Kanda station take west exit.It was 11 o'clock in the evening as I arrived at the station, I asked a person to describe me the way and she was kind enough to learn the address and walk me out to the hotel. It takes 3-5 minutes to reach the hotel from the station. The hotel is on the main street ,once you learn the address you won't get lost.It is only one station away from Tokyo station so it is easy for you to travel with Shinkansen trains or reach the airport via Narita Express in 60 minutes. I stayed in a single room which was small but basic,overlooking the street, on the 11th floor. The hotel has 2 elevators with a card security system. As you show your room card,  you don't have to press the number of the floor,  the elevator takes you right to that floor. The hotel is equipped with many amenities, like coin operated laundry with free detergent provided, a PC corner, a vending machine, an ice machine and a baggage storage room near the reception. I stayed for 9 nights at the hotel, as I arrived, 9 bottles of small water were placed in the room.The room has a desk,  a chair,  a desk lamp,  multiple device charger, a laptop tray, a safety box, a mini fridge, coffee mugs,  an electric kettle with free tea and coffee bags,dedorizer,clothes hangers, a baggage rack, clothes brush, both plastic and cotton slippers, a nightgown and a hardcover notebook with a pen inside which was chic.The room, the bathroom, bed sheets and bedlinens are cleaned daily. TV has no English channels,  only local Japanese channels. The bathroom has both bidet and toilet, a bathtub,  a hair dryer, magnifying make-up mirror,a bath and face towel,  personal amenities,  soap, bathgel, shampoo and conditioner dispensers which are renewed daily. I did not pay for the breakfast so I cannot comment on it. Both the receptionists and the cleaning staff are kind and helpful towards the guests. Free WIFI service is provided both in the rooms and at the reception area,there is also wired internet connection in the room. There are many cafes and eateries around the hotel, the location of the hotel has a lively nightlife. There is 7-11 discount market opposite the south exit of the hotel,  where you can withdraw money with your international bank card, there is also Lawson discount market on the way to the hotel. On Kanda train station you can buy Suica card and one day transport tickets.Akhihabara electric town is one station away on JR Yamanote line. The rapid Chuo line connects Shinjuku with Kanda station. I recommend this hotel due to its proximity to Tokyo station and to the other main sights in Tokyo and for its amenities. 


Hotel Unizo Inn Kandaeki West

Great Hotel. Friendly staff with lots of help with directions and events. This was the last stop on this business trip to Japan. My wife and I enjoyed the cleanliness and great service and would definitely stay there again while in Tokyo. The area of the city is remarkable as you can get to multiple sights very easily. We walked to many and spent a lot of days enjoying the Japanese culture.

Senior Manager

Bed is tiny close ro a large single but not for 2 people. Staff at reception did not want to help me at all. Went down stairs to ask what to do on a rainy day and staff ignored me and served other people. Would never stay again or ever recommend. 

Tiny room and rude staff

I was traveling in business meeting to Tokyo. It is located in easy access to JR and Metro lines (Kanda St.). The hotel is managed well though a bit small rooms but comfortable for me. Compared to price in Tokyo, it is value for money. The neighborhood is surrounded by many restaurants providing various type of cuisines.
