173 reviewsI spent 5 nights in this hotel on a business trip to Waseda University. The rooms are indeed small but as a single traveler without much luggage it was not a problem for me. I did experience some issues with the wifi but it generally worked OK. Breakfast was good - a buffet with a selection of Japanese and Western food. Hotel service was also good. As noted in other reviews, there is some variability in how much the staff speak English. As a small touch, I really liked the room lighting. The small bedside light that continuously dimmed almost to nothing was a nice touch. There was also a mini fridge (good for snacks from the Lawson down the street) and a hot water kettle/heater. One other point about this room is that there was a fairly large step up into the bathroom, which would not be good for people with mobility issues. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The hotel turned out to be comfortable and quiet, and the location (very close to subway station, and just one stop from Waseda) was perfect for my needs.
