Oyado Eitaro

For a small rural town, the family run guesthouse is conveniently located. Although the hosts speak virtually no English, they are polite and willing to help. In addition to the on-premise onsen, we could also use the onsen at Hirayunomori -- a large onsen some 10 mins walk from the guesthouse. The Japanese-Style Room was cosy. We were lucky to have a room with the view of snow capped mountains. Common areas were clean. We didn't eat there as we stayed only one night but spent an entire day trekking at Kamikochi. As we left, the lady host gave us some postcards as mementoes. A very nice gesture.
