It took 10 mins for me to walk from station to the hotel. It would be hard to climb up the stairs with heavy luggage case. I arrived in the morning (10am), but the light in the hotel lobby was all turned off so at first I thought the hotel was closed! 
The room generally was tidy and clean but it has no place to put things. The sockets were located at a weird place too. 
The location was good. It was near to the Awa Odori Hall. Most importantly, the security among the district was also good and quiet at night.

Tidy room

I've stayed here, a few times, whilst in Shokoku. I found it by accident and am very pleased I did. The hotel, itself, is ordinary with all that one would expect from a modern business hotel in Japan, though the rooms are larger than some I've stayed in. The wifi is free and never let me down, unlike some 'free' wifi's I've had to put up with.
 
    The thing that sets it apart, though, are the friendly helpful staff, in reception. Unfailingly polite and always greet you as if you are an old friend. Very nice for a solo traveller.

     The Asset restaurant I tried and found that the service and food was good, though as the only diner I felt a little lonely.

    I haven't tried any other hotels in Tokushima, but why would I when this one is so good.

A good place to base yourself

It is near Tokushima station just 10 minutes by walk, mall, restaurant halal food in Awa odori kaikan at 5th floor 5 minutes by walk.

Why is it like my home?  It has a friendly and helpfull staff, free rental bicycle, laundry coin, free wifi and PC rental and vending machine and the important thing is they pay full attention  to cleanness.

It is recommended hotel if you visit Tokushima
