We were a group of 3 and were booked into Kurama room which there is only 1 or at this Ryokan. This room has 2 floors with the sleeping area upstairs and the living area downstairs. It was much more convenient compare to the normal rooms. It was very comfortable, service was great, shared bathrooms spotless clean and the hot tubs (not onsens) are fantastic to relax after long days of walking around. Location is not the most central but just about 15-20 min walk to Gion and all the sights. Would certainly stay here again next time in Kyoto!
