10 reviewsWe really enjoyed our two night stay at this unique and comfortable ryokan. Our hosts are lovely people - all very kind and helpful. The onsen was a very pleasant surprise-I enjoyed the spa experience very much. Our room was large with a separate seating area to relax and look out at the mountain view. We also sat outside on our own deck. We had a quiet and comfortable sleep and we kept the small windows open at night to breathe the fresh mountain air. The area was only a five minute walk away from Fun2Drive, the Kintoki Jinga Shrine and trailhead, and also golfing. The location was also very convenient with buses going to places such as the Gotemba Premium Outlet, Gora, Odawara, and Hakone-Yumoto Station (we caught the T bus to Odawara Train Station at the Sengoku bus stop - only a 10 minute walk away). It is our favourite accommodation in our visit to Japan so far and we highly recommend it to others who want the traditional Japanese experience rather than staying in a small hotel room (like we did in Osaka and Tokyo). We would definitely return there on our next visit to Japan. The photos on the site don’t do it justice.
