We were in Turin for Eurovision. The location is perfect, only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the city, the train station and they have shops/bars near by.
Although check in was at 13:00, we got there early (about 11:00) and they still let us check in as the apartment was ready. The apartment itself was spacious. Offering a kitchen/dining area, bathroom and a queen sized bedroom and there’s two balconies. One is communal which you share with the other residents and it looks over the courtyard. There’s air con and two wardrobes available. It could do with a slight fresh up as the apartment was very tired and scruffy in places. It also lacked basic necessities (e.g. kettle, iron, corkscrew, utensils).
The reception is 24 hours, the key has to be left  with a member of staff until you return. They also have a parking available if required. The staff were friendly, although their English is limited and broken, we managed to get by. But too be fair, I should brush up on my Italian.
The breakfast is continental. Albeit minimal and basic, a lot of the sandwiches, focaccias and crostata seemed homemade.
There’s a compulsory city tax which €2.30 per person per night, which we were made aware of on the day we arrived.
Overall, a perfection location and staff friendly. Could do with a face lift though in some places.

This apartment/hotel was really a great find. It is perfectly located in a quiet street, 15 min walk from the Porta Sussa train station and the same to the city center in the opposite direction. Do not miss the fabulous Basilica Consolata in vicinity, 5 min walk in the direction to the center.
Staff is very welcoming and kind, reception basic behind which is a breakfast dining area.
Our room was in another wing, across the open courtyard where's a secured parking lot, great for those with a car. 
The room, in fact it was an apartment with a separate kitchen was very spacious. It's basically decorated but with all you need, clean and functioning. Very good and comfy bedding. We had also a small balcony which was nice. Downsides of the room are lack of sockets, and no wifi signal in room (only at the reception) but could live with that.
Breakfast was typical Italian, a lot of dolces - many sweet pastries and cakes, OK to start the day with very good coffee. There's a supermarket 200 m away.
Considering the price (around 70 Euros with breakfast) it was a really great stay, recommended for tourist when exploring all day out.

Excellent budget accommodation

My choice of hotel was made in a hurry,just to have good location to the centre and bus station at Vittirio Emmanuelle street,131.
Arrival at the area of hotel gave me some doubts.But I found a ready welcome at the Residence Valdocco,my appartments was in the courtyard of main building,very large,comfortable  with all necessities.
Residence also offers cotinental breakfast.In case I'll come back by bus,I know where to stay.

Unexpectedly nice

This is a family owned business, with friendly and smiley staff. The apartment is very big and comfortable, completely independent but you have all the amenities of a hotel. There is a private parking which comes with a 14euros fee but if you are roadtripping is an essential as it is quite safe with a private entrance. The breakfast has all you need, nothing too much, but all the basics along with Italian essentials e.g. pizza slices, tortedi frutti etc and of course good coffee. The location is quite central but it is not in the center, which is a good thing as it is not noisy but in 5-10min walk you are in the center of everything. We were very satisfied from the facilities and services but mostly from the staff. We will visit again.

Hidden Gem in Turin

We stayed here for two night. The location is perfet to visit the center of Turin (10' walk). Our room was small (the bathroom very small) but quiet. The breakfast was simple but abundant.
I'd suggest this place for a short visit in Turin.

Great value

The location of this residence is ideal - a 10 minute walk to Piazza Castello, the centre of Turin. We stayed in one of the apartments of this residence which was clean and although on the small side, it was ideal for two persons. The place looks outdated, breakfast was very simple and there was no internet connection available from the apartments. However the staff was helpful (although their English was limited). However I would still suggest this hotel for a short stay in Turin due to its value for money and ideal location.
