I couldn’t recommend B&B Carla highly enough . Our room was spotless and the bed was so comfy . 
Carla was so friendly & the breakfast she made for us was enormous . 
Carla dropped us in to Pisa & gave us a brief history lesson en route !
It is only 5 mins from the airport & great value for money .

Carla is a gem . 

Wow! 
We had a late flight that arrived into Pisa very late at night. We needed somewhere to stay for the night before an early onward journey the next day. 

When we got up the next day, we found that Carla had made the most amazing breakfast for us. Carla then drove us to the train station for our onward journey.  

Carla has a most beautiful house just 5 minutes by taxi from the airport or the centre of Pisa. Our only regret that we had so little time in a truly special B&B.

Very special B&B owner

Very charming house, with extremely kind and friendly owners/family. We only stayed one night, ahead of an earlier flight home the next day, but it would have been great to have been able to stay longer and enjoy the setting a bit more. Really close to the airport, so excellent for our purposes and close to the city centre too. Owners were so v kind dropping us off in the city for an evening meal and then again to the airport for our flight in the morning. Thank you v much

Every single review about Carla and her B&B is a hundred percent accurate. As previous reviewers have said Carla is an exceptional host and her B&B is charming.
Picking us up from the train station, taking us to and collecting us from the pizzeria, delivering us to the airport, the extra little touches in the room. Faultless. Kind and generous. Grazie Mille Carla.

Charming Carla

Carla’s hospitality exceeded our expectations! The room was extremely clean, comfortable and filled with water, cookies, coffee and anything else you’d need. Her breakfast spread included fruits, bread, muffins, tea, coffee, eggs, and Carla was always ready to help. She drove us to the airport to pick up our rental car as well as brought us to the Pisa Tower parking with a driving route to see the main city sights. She cares a lot about your experience and truly is a Pisa local highlight for us.

World- class hospitality in the home of a Pisa local

Carla is one of the most unselfish people we met in all of Italy.  She followed us to turn in our car, then offered to take us to a restaurant and pick us up.  THEN, she took us to the airport at 4:30 AM — all for no charge.  We did leave her a nice tip that she wouldn’t see until after we had gone, as I doubt she would have accepted it.  Her breakfasts are huge, varied, and well presented.  The beds were very nice, and we even had a bathtub in our room!  We will always use Carla anytime we fly in or out of Pisa — she, and her home are lovely!

A wonderful ending to our trip to Italy

Staying with Carla is like staying with your Italian grandmother.
The best thing about Carla’s B&B is Carla herself.  She picked us up at the train station.  When we were ready to go to town she took us to town and picked us up after dinner,  She fed us a great breakfast, she took us to the airport.
  The house itself is a old farmhouse, well appointed with antiques.  Carla had all rooms well appointed with snacks and drinks.
Our room was large and comfortable.  Carla’s was our most enjoyable and least expensive stay in Italy.  

Your Italian grandmother 

Carla is the best possible hostess and a real sweetheart. She operates a B&B close to the airport, so it's very suitable for them who fly to Pisa. The house is very well kept building on a quiet street.  
When I stepped into the beautifully decorated room of a real old Italian home, I commented on the unusual nature of the place, which I apparently hurt Carla, although I had no intention of doing so. It was just unaccustomed to my eyes, used to Scandinavian style, to see many little trinkets,  tablecloths, and decorations everywhere. Suddenly I felt like going to a museum. We stayed twice happily in such homes, once in New Zealand and once in Tasmania. The hostesses made a replica of their old English homes from nostalgia. It was exciting now to get to know an Italian house and admire the care of the housewife in every detail. Carla arranged the breakfast room also very tastefully and served a varied, sumptuous breakfast to meet every need. What was unusual to me all over our stay in Italy that the Italian breakfast offers all kinds of sweet pastries. It was a very welcomed custom for me.
Not only did Carla offer home and breakfast, but she did not spare time and effort to bring us to the restaurant and back. Even if we had a  car, but without the knowledge of the narrow winding streets and a possible parking space, we would not have been able to manage it. Here again, we thank Carla for making your stay there so pleasant.

Absolutely amazing experience, nothing to fault whatsoever. Carla, the hostess, was the most caring kind woman ever offering to drive us wherever we wanted to go, arranging restaurant bookings, ensuring we were 100% satisfied with everything- she always went above and beyond! The rooms were also incredible- the best B&B ever.

Best B&B ever!

While we've stayed many places with comfortable bedrooms, immaculate bathrooms, amenities and great breakfasts (all of which Carla offers generously), she's in the competition for best host at a B&B because of her generosity toward her guests.  We arrived late and thought it unlikely we could see much of Pisa before our early morning flight.  Carla pulled out a map, designed a two-hour walking tour for us, then drove us to its starting point.  She suggested a restaurant she likes at the walk's end (good local fare) and picked us up after dinner.  The next morning, she followed us to the rental car return at the airport and then drove us to the terminal.  And she sent us off with a bag of delicious apricots she'd picked that morning.  Carla is a gem.  You'd be fortunate to be her guest.
