Amazing ! Wonderful staff as well. So kind !

This hotel is a bit hard to find without a GPS but once found it was excellent.  Located by itself right on the Med it is still part of the town.  The ocean view rooms are well worth the slightly extra cost. The breakfast was excellent. Private beach/cove was really nice

The pictures on the website are actually prefect to what you can expect when you arrive at this beautiful property!

I am trying to figure out of this is the hotel my brother and I stayed at as kids in 1970.  It was the Italian independence day and my parents went to a party up the hill an dfelt bad about leaving us at the hotel, but the hotel folks invited us to the big bash they were having .  It was a great hotel and I'm trying to figure out which one it was.  I'll attach some photos.

There are not enough positive words to describe the hotel and area. AMAZING!!

We stayed for one night to break up our journey between north Tuscany and Rome. 

First, let me emphasise, the staff are amazing at the Hotel Capo d'Uomo. From the minute we made our booking to after we had left, they were communicative and did everything they could to accommodate us. 

First we saved money by having four beds in one room rather than two twin rooms. The staff got in touch with us when they noticed both our kids were under five.  

The staff went above and beyond the call of duty to help my mother who was unable to make her booking. 

I accidentally drove off to Rome with my room key. The staff called me 20 minutes later and suggested that if I were too far away they would be happy to accept the key by post (we of course turned the car round). 

The breakfast was without comparison, the best I had had in Italy this trip with a great selection of charcuterie, fruit and sweets. 

Sure the rooms are a little dated but why would you want to spend time in your room when the views outside are so incredible. I found the beds to be comfortable and the bathroom was recently renovated. 

I would recommend insect repellent for the mosquitoes in the early evening.

Tiny bathroom, good food, great coffee, small town but cosy, snorkeling was ok, the beach is not private as you have to pay for chaizlongue down stairs on the beach.
Great for short holidays!

There was amazing views from the balcony which is why I booked it. In a very small but charming little fishing village. The room was really small and narrowed like  a pizza pie slice at the end so space is very limited but the hotel is fantastic with steep steps down to the beach. Sitting on the balcony at dusk with drinks after dinner was relaxing paradise for us.
