Agriturismo Le Grange

I stayed here for 3 nights when friends of mine visited from U.K. I wanted somewhere close to Marcelli main strip but also somewhere I could relax and feel at home when staying alone. This place was perfect. I was greeted with a warm welcome from Giorgio who continued to be friendly and helpful for my whole stay. The room was quite spacious and clean; the bed was very comfortable with fresh white sheets. The bathroom also had plenty of room with fresh towels and basic toiletries (and a hairdryer). There was also a patio with chairs and tables to use outside next to ample green space not far from the pool. All very peaceful, quiet and a lovely place to escape from it all. Breakfast was basic but ample - coffee, bread, cereal and home made cakes and jams were delicious! Some other points: you have to pay by bank transfer or cash. Walk to the beach is about 10 - 15 minutes down the road which is quite dark at night. Free sun beds and umbrellas on the beach. Cristina (the proprietor) was very friendly and chatty - very genuine and laid back, easy going (breakfast and check out was flexible and never rushed which I loved!) - she helped me with my Italian too. Generally I had such a lovely time I would definitely visit again. Great value for money! Thanks so much again to Cristina and Giorgio for a lovely stay, I hope to visit again soon. :)
