Hotel Royal Terme

Ischia itself is a wonderful place to spend one's vacation and the Hotel Royal Terme is a great place to enjoy the vacation at its best! It is very conveniently located in Ischia Porto, on a quiet street but very close to the main road and main shopping street, a supermarket just few steps away and the private hotel beach in a walking distance. The bus stop is also nearby but if you prefer to walk you can easily reach by foot the nearest Pineta and wonder along its shady paths or even Castello Aragonese and explore its ruins with breathtaking views of the bay and Ischia Ponte. As a guest of Royal terme you can enjoy the free entrance to the Castiglione thermal park - just need to reserve that taxi transfer at the reception. Plus the hotel has their own thermal pools - indoor and outdoor. All that means that even when the weather doesn't allow you to spend the day on the beach you have plenty of possibilities to entertain yourself and truly enjoy every second spent on the beautiful Isola verde. The hotel is not a modern one and yes, a bit dated. But it has everything you need and a very warm cosy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help and give a word of advice.. My room was a small one but always perfectly cleaned with several towels changed every day, had a fridge, TV, the bathroom with the hairdryer and the balcony where I could dry my swimming suits and the beach towel. The food was delicious, and I could try different fresh seafood dishes for the dinner. The waiter was always very attentive and friendly and made me feel really at home - though there were many guests and lot of work for him. The last but not least - important for those who still do not use smartphones - there is a PC in the reception area which I could use daily and free of charge. Well, my vacation was great! Hope I can repeat the most positive experience this year too!
