Clean quite modern rooms with helpful hosts. Transportation to FCO can be arranged in their van cheaper than a taxi. They were also willing to meet us as long as we called.  Best breakfast of many stays in Italy. I recommend this BB more than any of the same price range hotels around the airport.

Great  stay

I was at Beb between 30 and 31 December 2016 for a fleeting stop waiting to depart for the Canary Islands, clean, quiet comfortable environment, recommended. booked online met the description and features.

A very brief but positive experience

I had a completely outrageous experience at this place. The woman that runs it should not be in the service industry at all – a truly awful and sadistic human being. I had booked this place ‘near’ the airport (it still costs 20-30 euros from the airport) as I had an overnight stop in Rome before my onward journey at noon the next day. When I booked, I specifically mentioned my inbound flight number and the arrival time as I was meant to land just a few minutes before midnight, so I would get to the airport after midnight. The booking was accepted and the place even offered to pick me up from the airport for 20 Euros (which I did not request). 

After I checked in for my flight, they announced it would be an hour late to depart so I immediately contacted this B&B to tell them of the delay. The free wifi at the airport was mighty shaky, but I managed to send the update after a few tries. 

Fastforward to my arrival in Fumicino airport. I took a cab myself and when I reached, I had to ring the bell three times. The first and second time, they told me to just wait outside. After 10-15 minutes waiting on a lonely road, I pressed the buzzer again and the owner of the building comes out and tells me I have to wait for the B&B manager to come. It was 2am and I’m a single female traveller so I insisted that he let me at least in the gate as I was uncomfortable waiting on the road. 

I managed to find the lobby of the B&B myself and waited another 15 minutes until a woman came in and, without a hello or anything, says “We cannot accept you. You are very late. You must leave.” What followed was a completely ridiculous (I wish I had filmed/recorded it) over ONE HOUR of this lady telling me off for being late, saying that it’s my fault and that the place is closed after 10! Had they told me this when I booked, I would have taken my money elsewhere. I’m not sure how you can be an airport hotel but be choosy about arrival hours. It’s not like there’s anything at all else nearby that a tourist would want to stay there for other than a short stop-off from/to the airport. Even the sea is more than 15 minutes walk away.  

She said she sent me an email when I updated them on the flight delay (which I obviously didn’t see while I was on my flight over or in the cab since I don’t have mobile data). Her email apparently said “we cannot accept”….

She kept telling me to leave and to go find someplace else. Note this is not central Rome so it’s not like hotels are a dime a dozen. I said she would need to make an alternative arrangement for me elsewhere at the same price if she wanted me to leave. She refused and said it was my responsibility to find somewhere else. I refused to budge. She also accused me of waking up her elderly mother (????). 

What I didn’t understand was that had my flight been on time, I would have reached there at 1am and they were perfectly happy accepting my booking for that time, so why was I being punished for a one hour delay? I asked whether between 1am and 2am they gave my room to someone else and she said yes, all their rooms were gone. I still refused to move (I didn’t believe her). By then I really didn’t want to stay at that place but it was already past 3am and I really needed the rest before the next leg of my journey.

This completely nonsense conversation went on for over an hour and I planted myself squarely on the couch refusing to move until she either gave me my room or made an alternate arrangement for me. Finally she said OK and that she’ll give me a room - so it turned out she had a space the whole time and she just wanted to be mean and nasty to me!

The next morning, she didn’t show her face and I think it was her husband who served me breakfast. He was very pleasant and neither he nor I made reference to what happened with the crazy lady the night before.

A truly awful experience

I have no adjectives to describe this BeB, clean, fragrant, well-furnished and personal rooms, as well as excellent owners, courtesy and warmth to the fullest. I had a problem with my car and without any hesitation the very kind owner solved it.

Kindness to the maximum

My husband and I stayed for one night. The hosts were very helpful,  for a small fee, 10Eu, you can arrange and they pick you up from the airport. Very clean, great breakfast,nice people. They recommended a great seafood restaurant only 5 min walk. Overall very pleasant stay.

Pleasant stay

B&B discreet at room and service level, Good for the A/R shuttle service for Fiumicino. Recommended for those who want to travel from Fiumicino. We found ourselves with a single flaw, that in mid-summer the power had been cut off (for a fault only in the room) and we were hot and without air conditioning not to mention mosquitoes, but as far as the owner was concerned serious and kind person.

Good for those who don't have big claims.

I stayed in this bed and breakfast the day before a competition that I went to do at the Rome Fair because of the proximity to the Fair itself and I found myself well. large and comfortable room. The owner also made shuttle service available to us by driving me to the Fair by car and other guys who were staying in the same structure in view of the competition.

Convenience and availability

I only gave 3 stars because when I arrived (about 3 PM) I went to the gate rang the bell, shouted, etc. for 25 to 30 minutes with no response.  I was about to go hunting for another room when a longer term boarder came along and found a key in a planter to get me into the compound.  He made a call to the owner and it was another 15 minutes before he came to check me in.  The long wait was very frustrating.  The host and hostess were very pleasant.  The room was wonderful but for the woman staying in the next room who was having very loud, obnoxious phone calls until I beat on the wall at 11:30 PM.  Breakfast was a little prepackaged croissant, some dry cereal, OJ, toast and drip coffee.  Really minimal.  It wasn't the room that was bad, but the experience (even for the very reasonable price).

Very nice room

We stayed the 2 last nights of our trip on this B&B and it was fantastic. Even more spacious than a hotel. We had our room with a private bathroom, and the price was great. Wifi was ok and for free. Breakfast included some fruit, toast, coffee, nutella, jelly, pastry and juice. Owners were so nice and offered to take us to the airport the next morning, since we had to be there at 5 in the morning, for 20 euros (10 per person). The only downfall is that they are very far from the city, for a short stay is perfect, but for a longer stay, pay a bit more and stay in the city center. It took us about 1 hour and a half to go to the city and the same thing on the way back. We had to take 1 bus that takes a long time to come, and 2 metros. On the way back we got lost and had to take additional buses and the place was pitch dark. Even a few blocks away from the B&B there was a great fish restaurant, where we ate both nights, it was about a 5 minutes walk, but again, pitch dark. Overall I would stay there again but for the day of the flight only, not for a long stay.

THE BEST B&B FOR SHORT STAY

Great for those who have to fly from Fiumicino, very friendly and kind owner, also and especially with the shuttle service to and from the airport, great breakfast and free parking.
