I would definitely recommend this B&B, a large new apartment. Very close to train station and Bologna centre (15 min), very clean and comfortable room, especially comfortable beds and shared bathroom, very good breakfast that the owner prepares whenever you want, and of course very hospitable and helpful owner.

great choice

As soon as we booked online, the lady send us a really friendly sms arranging all the details. Once we got there, she was helpful, kind and super friendly. 
The place is clean, well located and has a really nice bathroom. In the morning, the breakfast is abundant and super good.
If we come back to Bologna, I think we would head to A Bologna right away.

Really good place to be

Very clean, nice and friendly owner.
I arrived very late and she waited for me without asking for an extra charge for late arrival.
I would definitely recommend it for short breaks and business trips (good location)

Good basic B&B, close to the train station

We stayed at A Bologna for one night on a recent trip to Italy. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast basic but satisfactory. There was only one other guest when we stayed which was good as the shared bathroom would receive a serious workout when the balance of rooms are full. 

The B & B is in a large apartment and was very secure. We were looked after well by the hosts who spoke excellent english. The location is good but a little walk into town - we had trouble finding suitable close-by dining options as local restaurants were full. There is a post office in the next block - excellent for sending all of the shopping home! In summary this basic accommodation was fine and suited our needs. 

You cannot park in the street however as it is limited to residents only - underground parking stations are located in the wider area however. The room was on the expensive side for the basic amenities provided however this reflected Bologna's hotel prices which were much higher the elsewhere we encountered due presumably to the the large amount of business travellers.

Good basic B & B

Excellent b&b, the owner wants you to feel right at home and she succeeds marvelously. Spacious room, clean, very clean and spacious bathroom. I can confirm I had a fan in my room, I had four towels, and everyting was clean and had a nice scent. Breakfast was basic but ok. The location is great, close to the station and close to the city centre. I didn't take the bus, but it seemed close as well. I would definitely recommend this place!
