I stayed at the Dan Jerusalem as part of a tour group - four nights at the beginning of our tour and then another two at the end. Compared to the hotels that we stayed in between these nights, all I can say is that I was SO happy to be back at the Dan! We had a bit of a hiccup with the room that we were assigned on return, it didn’t have a shower door like the room that we had been assigned on our initial stay. When I asked if it was possibly missing, I was informed that it wasn’t and it was intentionally not there as a design feature. Seeing my confusion and distress, Anas Ishan (front desk assistant manager who should be promoted) took it upon himself to give me an alternate room. Anas. You out did yourself with exceptional customer service for a crazy Canadian lady who didn’t want to cause a flood in the bathroom. You could have just wrote the incident off as a misinformed guest, but you made me feel heard, validated, and the room you gave me instead made me feel like a queen. Thank you from the bottom on my heart. The Dan Jerusalem hotel is absolutely grand - it’s very well appointed and the beds were so comfortable! The food was incredible and there were so many options to choose from. Delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it. I may have left Israel but I left a bit of my heart at The Dan Jerusalem. I hope to return to Israel one day, and the Dan Jerusalem will be my first choice. Thank you.
