The Barley Field

I stayed here for 4 nights and was overall very pleased. On arrival I was greeted by Jason and he, like the rest of the staff, could not have been more helpful throughout my stay. The room was fine (bathroom was excellent with a great shower) but the picture on my TV came and went. Breakfast was good each morning with a wide selection of options. The bar was a disappointing - no-one around with little atmosphere. There is also an issue with doors banging. They have obviously got springs attached to ensure they close as a fire precaution but can be quite startling It was also a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. I didn't mind the walk but perhaps not very everyone. That said I would definitely go back in the future.
