This B&B is the best value for money in such a central location in the town of Westport. Ann was a brilliant host and gave us the soundest advice regarding sights to see and excursions. As a result we got the most we could have wished for out of a short but most enjoyable stay. Comfortable walking distance to Westport House, Clew Bay and the Greenway.
We missed a kettle in the room but this is due to Covid restrictions and only noticeable because we drink a LOT of tea! Hopefully this will return soon.
Otherwise, lovely amenities, tasty and generous breakfast, and welcoming atmosphere. We even had access to decking, table and chairs. Highly recommend!

Can't be beaten on value for money!

Stayed here for two nights - very central location. Room was spotless and all COVID measures in place, from the room to how they served breakfast. Breakfast was delicious, and are happy to accommodate what you want, from continental to full Irish. Homemade bread and marmalade are a must. Host in particular was great. Very informative about local area and beyond, giving us recommendations on where to eat, what to see, to the scenic routes to take when we were travelling on. Would definitely stay here again. 

Lovely B&B and lovely hosts 

Stayed at the Drummin House. Ann an excellant host. Room spotless, breakfast lovely would stay again. Situated central to town up a hill. Lots of places to eat and all adhering to regulations. Perfect place fir a base to all Mayo has to offer.

Love Mayo

Comfortable room with nice amenities. Fabulous Irish breakfast. Short walk to Westport center with shops bars and restaurants. Traditional music hard to find only bar offerer, ctowded bar on Tuesday night. Good price.

Wonderful b&b

Drummin House is a wonderful B&B ran by very friendly people. The breakfast is cooked to order and it is top class. The rooms are comfortable. Great shower. Spotlessly clean. The property is only a stones throw from Westport town center. I  would highly recommend.

Fabulous B&B

This B&B is ran by a lovely couple in walking distance of the main town. The B&B is at the top of a hill just 5 mins from the centre. The owner was more than happy to sit with us and give us recommendations on dining, drinking and day visits. A traditional Irish breakfast was provided which left us full until dinner. This was the cheapest and most central B&B we found on our search for accommodation and we would thoroughly recommend it. 

Fab visit

Host were very helpful with ideas for things to see and do in area. Good location, very quiet but two blocks to shops and restaurants. Beautiful walks nearby. Amazing home cooked Irish breakfast with pots of tea and delicious home made jams, local meats, as pictured. Covered secure storage for bikes. Our room was comfortable and cozy with a good bed and shower. We would love to stay here again.

Great Stay!

We stayed for one night in a double room, which was a bit cramped but clean. There is fee parking offered in a side lot close to the property, but we were lucky to be able to park on the street, which was more convenient. Hosts were very proper and showed us a map of the city with its pubs and restaurants and also recommended a beautiful 20 minute walk to the waterfront, since the afternoon was pleasant. Our walk back from city center at night was about 5-10 minutes. For breakfast we were asked what we wanted but with no options, so we asked for fried eggs and bacon. There was an assortment of jams with butter, which was good. The coffee was one of the best of our stay, very strong and flavorful. Overall good experience with no frills, good location to experience the city.

Good Location

Very enjoyable stay. Breakfast was delicious and great variety. Be warned it's on top of the hill and within walking distance of the town, grand going down but hard going walking back up. Beds comfortable but room in need of being up dated.

Very comfortable B&B

What a great B & B and so friendly and helpful! Bedroom spacious and had patio doors out to a lovely garden, nice and quiet, free wifi, very clean and excellent breakfast. A two minute walk from all the pubs and restaurants of Westport, would definitely stay again!
