Great affordable place to stay in Galway. Clean and comfy. Very busy place and was a bit noisy for sleeping.

Friendly/ helpful staff; good access to public transportation.

Great place to lay your head at the end of the day ,shared kitchen and dining room,

Thank you To Meera, she is a wonderful waitress doing all she can to help you and has à little word for everyone .
The breakfast is excellent.
Thé room is confortable with a good bed and private bathroom .
Thé place is very quiet.

I came across The Irish Sea with siblings on a pilgrimage to our mum’s place of birth, Ballaghduff, just outside Kilkerrin. We booked a four night stay at The Corrib Village Appartments not sure what to expect but hopeful of a pleasant, if quite basic accommodation.
I have to say that we were more than pleasantly surprised. The rooms were lovely and clean. There was a nice shower and the beds were very comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was more than sufficient and the staff there, especially Meera, as helpful as could be. Seeing to our every need with a smile on her face.
They provide excellent value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Galway during the summer recess

My daughter and I stayed at Goldcrest Village for 6 weeks this summer for a study abroad session at NUIG. First of all, the reception staff was awesome from day one! We first met Jeff and Rory, who were friendly every time we asked for help. We also wanted to commend Clyde, Jade, Elmear, Darragh, and Karl. We are also big soccer fans, and the staff always made sure that we could watch the U.S. play on the large big-screen TV in the large reception lounge. If we ever needed anything -- extra towels, bedding, etc. -- reception always handled it quickly. They also gave us fantastic advice on what tours to take and even helped us book a tour so that the bus would pick us up from Corrib Village. I also wanted to acknowledge the workers at the campus shop, especially Alaina, Meera, and Bernie. We were also able to have breakfast at Friar's on campus, and the staff there were incredibly friendly (Erica, Hayley, Mark, and Blanca). Mark even helped us find a hurling match to go to in a nearby city. The shuttle bus to and from the city center is so incredibly convenient, and on our last day, the driver even dropped us off at the coach station so we wouldn't have to walk far with all of our luggage. With that being said, you can also just walk to town. It's just a 20 minute walk through campus which is also nice. My daughter and I loved our stay, and we look forward to visiting again!

P.S. We had to put what type of trip this was for and there was no option for school so we just chose it was for "Business," which isn't actually correct. There should be an option for "School."

Cheap, nice area, basic room but everything you need.

Inexpensive lodging in Galway. I did not have access to microwave nor refrigerator.  Location has a laundromat but you have to purchase large sized bottles of detergent. There is a free shuttle to town but it stops running at 730pm. Most restaurants close by stop serving food after 9 PM. I arrived late and there was no shuttle and no food close by. Room was comfortable. Plenty of electric sockets. No  television. I felt safe. Google maps directions to reception are wrong.  It tells you to turn right when it should be turn left. Lovely time there. It's an excellent location to do lots of activities.

Great value for money, not far from the city centre (shuttle bus is available) , nice & clean rooms, good internet connection

Great location with a lovely 30 minute walk into city center all along the river and through the campus.  If you're not into walking, they provide a free shuttle with a friendly driver that will take you from campus to city center on the hour every hour most of the day.  Enjoyed being able to cook in the suite's kitchen too and the shop-store to buy various foods and groceries and travel necessities, like an umbrella!  Would definitely stay again!
