Spend a night here after flying in from a late flight. Room was super basic but clean. Room a little cold. Breakfast next morning was nice and tasty. Have to pay for parking extra which a bit of a pain

Basic but good locstion

Super service from passionate staff. They did not hesitate to search places and print maps. Food was tasty and presented with big smiles. Rooms were tidy and well equipped. Lesson learnt: Choose your staff well!

Good stay a short distance from the airport

My self and mu husband stayed  in travel lodge sat night .
Hotel clean but very basic
 Way too expensive for a bed .
We paid €87.00 plus €5.00 for parking.
No breakfast included.
We did hve a meal in resturant and the food was low quality 
The mash eas instance 
Fish was  so small.
Defo not worth the money

I always thought travel lodges were  a cheap option

Too expensive

We stayed in Rock Hotel for 1 Night and that was enough. I don't know if the event "Dublin Pride" was the reason of the expensive rooms but 130 € for one night in a dirty and unequipped room is too much. I booked the room with TV, WIFI, hairdryer and so on but nothing was there. Ok you can connect WIFI in the lobby and in maybe 30 % of the rooms. You can't close the window properly so we were lucky that it wasn't to cold but the traffic from the street was loud.
My conclusion is that I think it's better to search for a Bed&Breakfast which is cheaper, nicer and with breakfast. ;)

Rooms are way too expensive for the quality

Stayed in what was supposed to be the newly refurbished G street Hotel!! Previously Travel Inn, Rock Hotel. Nothing has changed from the earlier pictures. 
The place should not be claiming hotel status, its not even a hostel. Someone at Irish tourism board needs to pay a visit to confirm status of the place. 
The pictures speak for themselves from earlier posts. although beds are clean.

If it were possible to leave negative stars, I would do so for this "hotel". First, the name, ownership and address are incorrect, as are the pictures posted from the hotel. The name has been changed to the Rock Hotel and the hotel has moved to 10 Upper Gardiner. (8 is being "renovated") There's a hand-written, small note for travelers to let them know that the Travel Inn is next door now, but the front door is locked at all times so be prepared to wait for someone to hear your knock no matter what time of day or night. Even after that surprise, I thought, 'how bad could it be?'

Never ask a question unless you're prepared for the answer. We would have left 5 minutes after arrival, despite not having another room during Dublin's Easter celebrations if they would have given us a refund. Everything about this hotel is a lie and a danger. 
The steep, uneven stairs are rotting beneath the ancient carpet and there is no lift. The rooms contain only a bed - there are no closets, tables, or even phones - so to reach the desk you have to use the stairs. The advertised Wi-Fi does not work except in the lobby (sometimes) and the 'open' kitchen is permanently padlocked. 

There's a sink in the room, but the water comes out brown and stinky. When we brought up the undrinkable water, we were given 2 liters of bottled water per day as if the unsanitary conditions would be made right by the bottles. The faucets weren't sealed and kept falling over. The shower water was brown and it wasn't sealed, so the floors had peeled up, exposing the rotten wood and the stench of mold was so bad that we kept the door closed and the window open even though the heater didn't work.
The fire alarm went off every night we were there between midnight and 3AM, and the walls are paper thin, stained, and many have holes in them.

The regular employees are as nice as they can be - and we were switched to a 'better' room after 3 nights, but it was the same as the other - minus the smell of mold. The water was still brown, there were no pillowcases on the (obviously) used and stained pillows, and the cups and silverware were dirty. One woman at the desk (the first we met) was very sympathetic but claimed she didn't have the authority to do anything for us or to refund our money. She said the owner would be back after the holiday weekend, but it turns out that she WAS the owner and had lied to us about everything. The other employees tried to help, but admitted that she did that to many complaining customers.

Don't stay here. It's not worth a dime, much less the 'reasonable' rates they charge. I still can't believe that they have the gall to call it a hotel. Within 3 blocks there are at least 5 places with similar rates that are safer, nicer, and more sanitary.
