The Blarney Stone Guesthouse

This is the guest house version of the Savoy!!! 
I spent last weekend here and I was blown away by the place. Angela has the most incredible taste in design and the whole house is exquisite. The room I was in was spotless and so comfortable with a great power shower, gorgeous bedding and beautiful lighting. 
The breakfast was absolutely fabulous with gorgeous fresh fruit and an epic full Irish complete with black and white pudding (I love that!!) The chandelier that hangs in the dining room makes for the most glamorous breakfast you have ever experienced. 
Also I have to say that compared to other hotels and guest houses in cork it was also very reasonably priced. If I ever go back to cork it's going to be the Blarney stone!

A great welcome and a super stay at the Blarney Stone.  Family group and everyone was delighted with the guesthouse. Our rooms were excellent and spotlessly clean. We all enjoyed the freshly prepared breakfasts including the vegetarian option(thanks for the added sausage! 😂) 
Hosts were top notch and couldn’t have been nicer - thank you to you both! Highly recommend for friendliness, hospitality , comfort, good quality breakfast, location and parking.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. 
The hosts Daniel and his wife Angela are so welcoming and friendly.
Our double bedroom was very comfortable, spacious and warm. 
The bathroom had an excellent power shower and soft white towels were changed daily.
Breakfast was very tasty and the breakfast room was so cosy and quaint with Daniel waiting to show you to your table.
We went for the full Irish option from the various menu choices and it was beautifully cooked to order each morning.
We could also help ourselves to cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants and muffins. Tea, coffee, juice and toast.
Should you need anything just ask, from directions to museums or the city gaol, to which bus to take to Blarney Castle, or booking a taxi to the airport.
We strolled into Cork centre in 15 minutes, the guest house is in an excellent location.
We had a lovely few days and we will definitely be staying at The Blarney Stone when we visit Cork again.

To Angela and  hubby ! We can’t wait to comeback!  It’s very accessible to the main attraction in cork city. 

This place could not possibly be any more beautiful, from the decor, the beds, the breakfast.  Everything was just so perfect!
Then to mention how helpful these hosts are, there was a mix up with a wrong suit case picked up at the  Dublin airport, one of our travellers own mistake.  They were so helpful in getting the best way for this traveller to get back to Dublin to return the piece of luggage, and pick up his.  
Great location, great nights sleep, amazing breakfeast.  This place is BEAUTIFUL!

We stayed here with a group of 6 in Sept. 2022.  It was a delight to stay here.  The rooms are beautiful and quaint.  Daniel and Angela helped arrange our day trip request for a private driver for the day.  It  really made our trip to Ireland special.  They also were very quick to respond to my million emails and request for information.  Highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, driving around Ireland for 2 weeks. Undoubtedly the best location we stayed at was Blarney Stone Guesthouse!!! Angela and her husband were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the house was impeccably clean. Rooms were clean and comfy, there was a portable fan for us Americans who are used to AC. The bathrooms were spotless. There is parking in the rear of the guesthouse, which was a delightful surprise. Recommend the full Irish breakfast in the morning! Can’t wait to stay here again!!! We enjoyed a great 3 night stay with Angela and Dan on our first ever visit to Ireland. The friendly atmosphere, outstandingly clean home, great breakfasts and fabulous recommendations on places to go and to eat were all right on the money. Highly recommend any traveller to look into this place for an exceptional stay for the money. 👍❤️

Danny and Angela welcomed us with open arms at their lovely Guesthouse.  We had booked another place down the road and upon arrival, found it deplorable.  Our son sprang to our rescue and found the Blarney Stone.  Danny and Angela bent over backwards to help us.  The service is exceptional.  We stayed 3 nights 
with them.  Their Guesthouse is beautifully maintained and clean with fresh white paint inside and out. Our room was serviced each day.  Coffee/tea is delivered to your room on request.  The beds are comfortable as are the pillows.  There are lots of mirrors in the room/bath.  The rooms are equipped with blow dryers and a TV.  Angela cooks breakfast daily for all of the guests and her food is great.  We especially enjoyed the traditional pancakes. We recommend the Blarney Stone Guesthouse 100%.  FYI- we happened to be in Cork when the weather was unusually hot.  As most places in Ireland do not have AC, we found our rooms quite warm.  The windows do not open wide and it was difficult to get the cool night air into the room.
