Actually this was the 2nd time I've stayed in this hotel, and the service was still great, not difference between the 1st time (May 2016) and this time (August 2016).

The hotel was located in the Magelang city center. Nearby the hotel, there were many local food / street food vendors with good taste and good price. 

The room was nice and clean, the amenities is okay (including the drink water), the breakfast was tasteful (they delivered it to the room every morning between 0600-0700am). The hotel staff also nice and helpful. 

Based on my experience, you should make a booking first, otherwise you can't get the best room. As I remember, the best room is 203 -- facing the main road, the AC was cool enough, and the mobile phone signal reception was better than the other room . 

Last visit there, they have put a wireless point access, so you can use the wifi in the room.

Nice Budget Hotel

this was my second time stayed here. i booked two rooms. unfortunately there was an eruption happened in Mt. Kelud (Nearby Magelang) so there was a lot of dust everywhere. well it's worth the money. room was okay, staff was friendly, location was good.

It's ok

We arrived without a booking but had checked prices and availability at Agoda in beforehand. When we arrived and asked what rooms they had available he pointed at the most expensive one and said only this! As it is annoying and irritating it's also more the rule than the exception that this form of lie appears every time looking for a hotel. I called his bluff and were allowed to check out their cheapest room for 100 000 rupiah. Only fan and shared bathroom (squat toilets and cold bucket showers). The room was small and warm but the fan helped. Fairly clean but as always negligated maintenance wise. 

The included breakfast was terrible (cold rice and wierd tasting tofu/chicken in disgusting sauce)

Summary:
For 100 000 you get a clean bed and a night sleep but I would never stay more than one night and I would every time go into yogyakarta and stay there instead if possible.

Small, hot rooms with terrible breakfast but cheep

well u can't expect much with the cheap price. location at the center of the city. the problem will come at night, its so noisy since u can hear vehicle sound outside the road. room was good. a/c at room become useless because Magelang is cold. staff was friendly. a lot of food nearby the hotel.

its worth for money

I stayed for business and social visit. It is located in the heart of Magelang, easy to find eat and in the morning you can stroll along the jalan pemuda magelang. It has hot shower too. magelang is cold, so you need a hot and warm shower. It is good, not mampet, lancar. 

The bed is not very good, but you can replace it sometime (for the hotel owner). 

Overall, it is good budget hotel.
