we had a lovely stay at dreamcatcher in February it is situated in the jungle by a lagoon by the sea, what more could you ask for.The staff were friendly and helpful,The accommodation is pretty, clean and adequate. The food was good served by pleasant waiters. I think they are very lucky to have the yoga teacher they have he is amazing. I will definitely come back next year karen

lovely location

I stayed here with my partner & another couple in February 2018.  Although I have been through Dreamcatcher many times on my way to the beach from the back road, I had never stayed here so thought we would give it a go.  

The setting is beautiful, by the outlet from the beach, like a small river really so you get lots of bird life and monkeys to look at.  We had a tree right outside our bungalow which had little fruits in which the monkeys loved so we saw them quite a lot.

The bungalow has good points and bad, like anything else really.  The bed was big, not too bad on the comfy stakes, I have slept in worse in Goa, the net was good and didn't have any holes, there was a fan but tbh when you was under the net you couldn't really feel it so we was hot! There was a sheet and a light quilt.  The bedding smelt horrible though, even when we asked for the room to be cleaned, not sure why when they have so much sun in Goa to dry things but it smelt very musty and when we first arrived it smelt like someone had slept in the bed before us and it hadn't been changed! 

The bathroom was good, we had hot water most of the time and there was two big mirrors in the bungalow which was defiantly a plus.  We had a few hangers and a small shelf unit, again a positive.  I would have liked somewhere else to put things, maybe a small table? 

There was a small veranda with a table and two chairs, bit of a tight fit but nice to sit outside and watch the bird life and monkeys.  would have been even nicer is there was a small fan outside too which would have helped keeping the mosquitos away. 

We didn't eat too much in the restaurant on sight as it was very expensive, more than the beach shakes which I couldn't really understand, but what we did eat there was nice. Also bear in mind they added the tax to your bills here which they don't do in any other places on the beach! 

I took my own teabags as I like decafe tea and they was charging us 30 rupees for hot water plus tax! 

I dealt with Aaron in the office mainly and he is a lovely bloke.  There is security boxes in the office, you just need to bring your own pad lock, actually you can buy them from the small shops on beach rd very cheaply. 

I had several massages from the on sight spa, they was quite a bit more expenses than anywhere else but I did enjoy them and it was very clean and professional.

I do think the bungalows are over priced for what you get and we did barter them down a bit as we had one bungalow for a month and the other one for 3 weeks. But tbh I think South Goa in general has got so very expensive.  

Wifi was a bit hit and missed but we did get it.

Beautiful quiet location

Although we were staying a luxury hotel an hour away it was uniquely different experience to come here.
You can stay the night have breakfast on the river, swim in the sea and relax on the beach.  Rather noisey at night with a variety of animal noises.  Spacious bedroom, ok bathroom and pleasant outside space to lounge about in.

Hut wasn't great. Water was never hot during my 3 night stay. The card machine hadn't arrived, so I had to pay cash which cleared me out. The mosquito net  in the room hit the fan every time you got out of bed! It's a nice location next to the river, but the mosquitos also know this. The onsite restaurant was much better and feels like a separate entity. They are lots of impressive raptors you can see from the waterfront seats which are the highlight.

Huts are poor quality relative to local price

One word! Disgusting! 
You have to walk through what can only be described as people living in squalor to reach Dreamcatchers 
To find the very shabby hut running alive with cockroaches was dreadful, to find cockroaches as big as mice inside the bedsheets, inside the net shocking!
Only given a refund for the 2nd night as we left at 1st light after not using the room. This place should be condemned

This is such a special place. With the most beautiful helpful talented people I have ever had the privilege to meet. We renewed our wedding vows in December 2017 . This was the most beautiful experience of our lives. We cannot express how grateful we are to the whole team who helped us at Dreamcatcher. Amazing ceremony, stunning decorations, amazing food and beautiful caring people. We will be back next year . THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!!
