Excellent property. Tucked away from the Madikeri to Bagamangala road. Well appointed rooms and living area. Verdant greenery all around the bungalow. Very good caretakers and chef. The food prepared was of our choice and very tasty.  Overall a very contented lot were we, our group of 12 batchmates. Go there again? Most definitely. 

Sublime rainy holiday 

The Bungalow consists of 5 rooms in total,  The main house has 4 rooms, which are identical, except that one room didn't have an extra bed. The 5th room was outside the main house.
Although we only required 3 rooms but we had booked the entire villa as we wanted quality family time.
The place really ensured that we do spend quality time with each other and not stay glued to our phones.
The main verandah was where we had our evening coffee/lime juice with pakoras.
The entire staff under the able guidance of Mr.Vishal was extremely courteous and helpful.
Mr. Akash & Vishal ensured that the rooms are neat n clean and the villa is spick n span. They even entertained the bachchas in our family. The chef Mr. Bijay treated us to local cuisine, and it was absolutely delicious. The gardener Mr. Lakhin was also of great help. He was the quiet one but he made sure that the lawns are well maintained & he wre helped to bonfire. 
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and all thanks to the staff for taking such good care of us.

Mesmerizing stay @Rare earth estate

Absolutely wonderful stay! A perfect getaway for family and friends, esp with Pets.
1. Beautiful chola  style  bungalow, it’s very spacious, yet comfortably furnished. Love the small ludo table top around the couches. The old world charm has a luxurious feel. 
2. Everything was clean and very well maintained 
3. Loved the staff, Vishal, Bijoy and Sonam and Harish. Cannot thank them enough for going out of their way to make our stay so comfortable. Vishal needs a special mention for sending my phone when I left it back there and Bijoy is an excellent cook. They were courteous, well trained and very kind! 
4. Stayed two days, definitely need to plan a longer stay and will return back
5. India has no place for families traveling with Pets except Taj. Most pet friendly hotels are hovels. Taj doesn’t compromise. We try to always book Taj hotels and their sister stays. They never disappoint.  We are loyal to a brand that understands the needs of having pets and loving them in luxury. Great job done Taj and Ama stays and trails!

Luxurious and comfortable bungalow stay near the main town

Our family of 8 stayed at Rare Earth in July 2022. Having stayed previously at many of the gorgeous Tata Plantation bungalows (Cottabetta etc), we were not sure how our stay at this home will turn out. It was outstanding - particularly the service of the team at Rare Earth and the lovely home that sits in the middle of some wonderful nature, silent and away from any noise (except the cicadas and birds). You can go on long walks if it isn't raining. But the monsoon experience in this house also gives you the time to read a book, meditate, play board games or have a wonderful meal and conversations. A few more comfortable sofas would have helped to settle-in and read a book. This is a perfect home for a family holiday as it has four lovely rooms and a cottage. This is a very spacious and lovely home. What made our stay so wonderful was indeed the service of the team of 4 at Rare Earth. the service from Manoranjan, Chef Manjunath, Vishal and Likhin is outstanding. They can also organize walks/visits to estates close to Madikeri. Madekeri is about 20 minutes away from the property. We enjoyed our stay at Rare Earth and will be back. The wi-fi and the mobile network  is very weak at the property - in case you need to use it.

Wonderful monsoon experience at Rare Earth

We were looking at a nice villa to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary, unfortunately we could not celebrate it on time due to 3rd Covid wave and had to reschedule our trip. 
It was a surprise for them and they simply loved it. Such a nice rustic old bungalow. Beautifully maintained.
The Bungalow consists of 6 rooms in total, out of which, only 5 were functional. The main house has 4 rooms, which are identical, except that one room didn't have an extra bed. The 5th room was outside the main house.

He was the quiet one but he made sure that the lawns are well maintained.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and all thanks to the staff for taking such good care of us.
